Honestly....making it so you can just go around war dec'ing anyone you want without rhyme or reason seems stupid and unfounded...Perhaps introducing a "peaceful corp" option where if you want to play in a corp with a bunch of friends and stay away from the politics of Eve. I was war dec'd this morning by a corp that I havent even heard of before and its stupid, im sorry if im the only one who feels this way, but the system needs to be changed or enhanced....

David H'Levi Sniggerdly	Posted - 2007.01.06 02:30:00 - [8] I agree. It's sort of a shame that people can roam around randomly wardecking groups of new players. Most new-player corporations need a month or two to get off the ground before they can properly defend themselves. They usually get that by being obscure, but it's always luck of the draw. However, EVE is fundamentally a PvP game. Changing that would ruin the game as it is. If you can't find a way to work around it (stay docked and find other things to do in the game) or fight back, you're in trouble. I'd suggest fighting back, having fun, not getting too invested in the outcome, and try not to get yourselves ganked. We Recruit!

(unless you count joining an npc corp) I'm sorry that your young corp is being ransomed, but there's nothing you can do to stop them short of disbanding your corp. You could, of course, try fighting back. But that would involve, y'know, risk. If you don't like it, leave. Hello Kitty Island Adventure awaits.

Every person here has been wardecced and/or declared war themselves. It is part of EVE. EVE is a PVP game. My advice: Fight. Fly cheap frigates in small gangs, get on voice chat so you can coordinate fire and go out in a blaze of glory. Even a month old player should be able to afford a fleet of cheap frigates and cheap mods. Heck, insurance money pays for your ship so all you really need is a collection of mods. If all else, fly around in starter ships. Sooner or later you'll learn how to fight or they'll all get bored. Either way you learn something, stand up for yourselves and can at least TRY to hold your head up. Or you can just be little pussies and run like sprayed*****aroaches any time someone dares look at you and pay you any attention..

I've noticed a lot of small corps being war dec'd for good reason, but not recognizing it. TBFH ccp should just make it so once a new player has been in after 45 days (Trail plus 1 month and a day) they get transfered to a war decable corp (max of 3 war decs). And those people who leave player corps so they can live in a noob corp should be put in a war decable corp after 15 days. This is a MMO, not a hey I have a few friends and don't wanna meet people game. And of course ppl will lose out, but in general it will force people to join corps or make them fight for something fun. What ever I say is my own views and not of my corp.
