Am I supposed to be getting my own leadership bonuses if I am the only person in the gang? (Assuming the gang was converted to a fleet and I've moved myself into a squad command position)
I thought this was the case but I just now tried it out and it doesn't seem to work. I have leadership V (10% scan res bonus) and Siege Warfare II (4% shield HP bonus).
Follow-up question. If I mount a gang module to my command ship, will I get the bonuses from that module if I'm solo in the gang/fleet?
Thanks.

I believe you need to have at least one other person in the gang, and have converted the gang to a fleet.

I didn't receive any bonuses when I did this though. I'll try again and get someone else to join the gang.

Edited by: Ennis Metara on 07/01/2007 01:37:07 I experimented with this a bit just a couple of days ago. No, if you are the only person in the fleet, you will not get any bonuses.
You can see easily if your bonuses are being applied by looking at the small light next to the squad leader's name in the fleets window. If it's orange, no bonus. If it's green, bonuses are being applied.
Here's something else I learned during the experiment: If you have too many people in your squadron and you complete the training in Leadership necessary to restore the bonuses, you must move yourself out of the Squad Leader spot and back into it before the bonuses go into effect.

I believe that you need to have another gang member in space with you to receive the bonuses.

You only get the gang bonuses if the gang member is in space, if they dock then you lose the bonus until they undock.

Get a trial account and leave the alt in a noob ship next to a station or in a safe spot.

Cheap but it works.

Edited by: Mudkest on 19/01/2007 02:07:35 still same space as you are(can warp to them without needing a jumpgate), or did theye remove this requirment with the gang updating? - When talking about the itsy bitsy spider, try not to start with itchy, you'll get the second part wrong as well |

Current system you cant login to a trial while being on a full account. So that doesn't work

Come on, I can't be the only one with multiple computers... I've had 2 for 9 years now and 3 for 6 years and 4 for 2 years. Every gamer I know has multiple comps... figured it was pretty standard these day.

Yes, they still need to be in the same solar system.
