Hello,
I have a problem with my PC, it crashes while i'm playing Eve and although it's a quite random, it happens more frequently while: - I'm trying to shoot someything (player or rat) - being close to a station in a crowded system - repairing others or repairing myself.
I'm not sure if it's only Eve related cause I only use this PC to play Eve on it, like 95% of the time and i've never had it the rest of the time (5%). It happened 2 weeks ago for the first time and I didn't do anything special with my computer before that.
Since then, to try to stop the crashes I: - reinstalled Windows, Eve, all the drivers with their latest versions - changed my power supply and my graphics card - tested my RAM with memtest and it didn't find anything wrong - tested my CPU with "cpu-burn" for 30 mins and while playing Eve in the same time and having a load of 100% (in CPU). It does well, I shoot rats in 0.0, I stop the test, 30 mins later i try to shoot rats in Bitt and it crashes.
I don't want to buy any other piece of hardware until I know what the problem is.
So if u have any input, I'd very much like to hear it.
Also, some corp mates said that CCP released a patch for users who had Eve crashes, but they couldn't point it out to me. Could u give me a link to it, plz?
Thx

Try updating your sound drivers to the latest, if that doesnt work, disable sound from the menu and see if that helps

I have the same problem, which strangely only happens when running two accounts. It's a complete system crash (blue screen of death), not a CTD. Reinstalling Eve does nothing though. Drivers are ok ofcourse, and no I refuse to play games in the year 2007 with no sound Runing on a dual core 4200+ amd. This can't be bugreported or anything cause it's not reproducable and logserver file isn't saved when the PC crashes

Thx, it seems to do it for now. I hope it's that. I've updated my motherboard drivers, but not the sound ones (since the sound one is integrated into the MB, me thought...).
