I've done prob 20-25 missions now for about 3-4 agents and still not getting lvl 2 ones. Must I do a set amount before lvl 2 agents will start offerering me work? Also, some agent s keep giving me the same missions over and over, is this normal?
Any suggestions o a good region to get up to lvl 2 agents fast?

Try working for the same agent, or at least the same corp the agents are for.
Also, lvl 2 agents wont just start offering you work randomly. You have to find ones you can use, ones in the same corp that you are doing your lvl 1s for.
The Connections skill helps.

You need a pick an NPC corp to work for, it doesn't matter which.
You then start running missions for a level 1 agent.. doing it for more than one is ok, just there is no advantage and seeing as you gain LP for just one agent = more lP = better rewards.
Now, when you get a standing of around 2.0 to that corp (check your standings page in your character sheet) you should be able to run missions for a level 2 agent (low quality) as your standing increaes you can then run missions for higher quality agents and then level 3 and 4 agents.

Thanks, that helps. Do you have any suggested NPC corps and areas to work in? Where are the best agents/missions? I want more combat related stuff ideally. Am an Amarr pilot working on my 1st decent cruiser (omen).

A good place I've found to run level 1 missions is Niyabainen IX - moon 21 - Caldari Navy Logistic Support. There are 2 level 1 combat agents in the same station. (1 is command, the other is security)
Edit: they are with the Caldari Navy corp.

My advice is to avoid any agents around 2 or 3 jumps of Jita.
It¦s really hard to do a combat mission like Worlds Collide when between your click and your missle launch you have 3 or 4 minutes delay on peak times.
Once I had a nice sig with a big drake picture plus some awesome photoshop effects... Too bad it had like 1 mb :/ |

Being that your an Amarr player, I would suggest doing missions for the Amarr Navy (not sure what there actual corp name is). That way you get missions and rewards that you can actually use. For example, Amarr players really have no use for missile launchers because they are laser users. so no point in doing caldari missions.

As someone else commented, running Amarr Navy missions is good for Amarr. There's actually a Lvl 2 agent one jump from Chaven I discovered by accident.
To find the best ones, you can also use the star map. I think once you have the star map up it's something like: Color Stars by ... -> My Info -> My Agents. Once you do that, the stars will be green if you have available agents there. Move your mouse over the star and in the popup that appears you'll see the agents in the bottom of the popup, with their level (L:1) and quality (Q:0). That's how I stumbled on the lvl 2 agent so close to Chaven.
Also, Bahda Berda I think her name is in Safizon is a decent lvl 1 agent for Amarr Navy. I pretty much worked my way up with her. She's lvl 1 with a quality of 15 if memory serves.

Read the Mission Guide in the Player Guide. It helped me figure out what to do. I did the Connections skill to level 2 and that put me over the top. The guide also explains how to see the list of agents, where they are located, and what standing you need. Good luck.
I'm doing the Human Cattle Part 5 mission and just lost my Cruiser.
