This is my first time post on the Eve-Online forums, I am wondering about the graphics issue concerning the planet edge and similar celestail objects -- Has a solution been posted?
I have downloaded the latest graphic drivers and to no avail. This has only been noticable to me since revelations was released... and it severly takes away from eve's stunning looks.
Solutions please?

It's been reported by a bunch of folks and I even put a bug report in on it. It also happens with some ringed planets showing the rings either completely in front of or behind the planet. It started after Revelations was first released. I'm hoping they will have it fixed soon. It has happened on all the computers that I have used.

I have the same issue both on my laptop and on my desktop.
Laptop has an Raedon X600 and PC has Geforce 6600GT
the most bugging are the ringed planets, they tend to flicker like one frame in front and one frame behind planet.
plz CCP fix it for us.

Yep Still waiting on any sort of solution. I use a ATI Mobility Radeon X700 in my laptop, and cannot see anyone posting any solutions to this very annoying (almost as bad as the mail bug) graphics issue..
GM's still waiting on a response..

Uhh can we get some kind of response here? Eve isn't nearly as pretty as it was before Kali (which is when this issue popped up, for me at least). Why there should be a breathalyzer to login to Eve:

This bug really hurt my eyes... It seems both ATI and Nvidia cards have this issue... You can stop updating your drivers every day, it won't change anything...
I'm using an Nvidia 7800 GT and the bug started right with revelations... -- Pocket drone carriers (tm) enthousiast ! Flying Vexor and Ishkur, Myrmidon was too slow, got ganked by 3 BC and a Megathron... |

Ditto here. I recall them saying they were going to fix it, but thats was about 2 patches back. Not a very good thing to let sit around unfixed, it shows a lack of concern about the state of the game. I've had a few new members question why planets were doing that, first impressions and whatnot...

Spot on! This bug has been around for months now. If I had a 14-day trial account and noticed flickering rings around planets, far away planets shining through nearby planets I would definately consider whether to sign up. Surely this should be priority? I wonder how many hours people have put into updating their drivers, fiddling with their GPU settings and installing/reinstalling various items. Like Nene Kawata states, "First impressions and whatnot..." The immersion and look of a game is so important. It woundn't get 9/10 for graphics at the moment. Please repair the universe...

Well, it's pretty odd and looks lazy that they didn't put it in the known issues section of the patch notes considering everyone knows about this bug. (I think everyone gets it.)
Not fixing it shows a lack of concern, yes, but I think that's because their concern is the new graphics engine they're going to release soon(tm) so it's just that nobody really cares, I suspect. Myself included.

I'm bugged too, and I've reported it.

CCP, where are you? This used to work fine. I was showing a friend around eve the other day and he asked about why the planets looked "all crappy".
