I'm struggling with diminishing returns on BPO ME researching. Just how far is too far? Just thought I'd ask... Thanks in advance

Or better yet .. there are a few links that give good information on how much ME is good for which BPO. http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=398536
This one has a Material Level calculator .. showing the waste per ME level .. and how far is actually usefull.
Me being a pessimist is a win-win situation: Either i am right .. or its even better then i said. |

The "where do i stop?" question is always a hard one so I've found. Use Zatch's ML calc to find your break points in research. for example. If you have a break point at ME 60 and the next point is at ME 200 and will take an extra month to save 200 isk on a build it's simply not worth it. If it only takes a coule days then I just do it.

Frankly, even for Battleship it is hardly worth going over ME 10 since you only waste less than 1% of the minerals. The perfect ME is not really useful since you only lose on the tritanium.
