Will I lose what's left of my 14 days on my trial if I make it a pay account before the 14 days expire? I'm sure someone here must know.

Ouch, that doesn't encourage me to hurry up and give them my money. I guess I'll milk it for all it's worth.

No, however as much is left on your trial is added on to the time paid for.

You will lose it, in my experience.
I had a 14 day trial, scribed in after 2 days, lost 12 days. I was an old player, that's why i signed up on my second day.

I too have not had a good experience with the transitions from trial to sub. Granted I've only ever had 4 trial accounts, 3 of which I waited out the full trial period before subbing...because the first one cut off my trial period and counted the sub days immediately.

You will lose it, however you can file a billing petition and it will be added to your account again. Several of my friends have done this recently, when I gave them buddy keys.

I had no problems.
Also since I am paying Month on Month I never even thought about it, to be honest.

Is the effect different if you set up an automated monthly payment (ie subscribe) rather than using a game time card?

Edited by: Mnengli Noiliffe on 09/01/2007 12:06:28 how about this, you use credit card (switch to this payment option from another one, including "promotional 14 days") -> you lose any days remaining. you use GTC -> days are added to your remaining days. if you switch from credit card to GTC, your remaining days will probably be lost too. In other words, you lose game time when switching payment options. That's how I think it works anyway.

You will NOT loose the 14 days (or whats left of it) by default.

I lost mine.
Then again, that's 2,5 years ago when buddy trials were still 7 days. I subscribed on day 5 and lost the remaining two days.
Not that I cared much about it, but it did strike me as odd at the time.

Wrong. I lost my free time when I paid. I was given 30 days the day I paid and that is it.
