Ok this may have been asked before but could not find anything but is there a way now to find astroids that are off grid now that the scanner wont show them, is there a probe or something eslse to use to get the job done?
Thanks

Edited by: Verite Rendition on 09/01/2007 22:01:27 Nope. If you have BMs to off-grid belts, cherish them, because the only way anyone is finding them now is by finding you in there.
On a related note, CCP fixed at least some of the off-grid belts in the Kali patch. One of the belts in my little domain was rewritten to be entirely on-grid. ---- AUS Corp Lead Megalomanic |

Those aren't off-grid belts, those are hidden mining complexes, an entirely different(but cool) thing. ---- AUS Corp Lead Megalomanic |

Ya we have already found a few of the exploration belts but I was hoping there was a way to scan out the roids in a off-grid belt. There should be a survery probe or something to scann belts just like the exploration probes but work like the scanner used to.

I have adapted to this change by making scouting trips to belts in an interceptor (a fast frig with MWD would work too). Just pick a direction and start moving, eventually you will end up off grid and can see if there are any rocks. I know it kind of sucks, but its all we have right now (that I know of). -=^=-

When y'all refer to the grid, is something contained in 'the grid' simply an object which will show up in the overview (with the appropriate settings)?
