I appreciate the warning about yet another pricing scam.

While aggregious, this doesn't touch Roark's 100 million isk piece of tritanium.

Oh yes, and price fixing would make the market very realistic. Rolling Eyes

The reason why people place "unrealistic" buy and sell orders, is because they aren't unrealistic at all.People have sold me level 2 and 3 cruisers for the price of frigates, and i myself have bought 3 super conducters for over a million each.If there is a demand, then so be it.

If i ever come across Gandof, he'll be just another face in the crowd.Like it or not, you agreed to buying an item for the agreed price.Furthermore, if i ever have to deal with him, i'll know he's a very trustworthy person - all he did was hold up to his end of the bargain.

Yes it would, setting a filter that covers a certain interval that¦s based on the basic retail value of the item in question, all other playerinduced prices that falls out of that interval is redflagged unless a bargain/misstake occurs ..e.g a Mega for 10 isk but that is less likely to happen sinceVery HappyVery HappyVery Happy scamming works in one direction only.

You DO realize that you just brought back from the dead a 3 year old thread, don't you ?

Did you also know that back then there was no color coded percentage to tip you off for the region average ?

Judging from your char ages, I guess not. Those incidents still take place, but the buyer must be drunk or something to fall for that old trick
