EVE booted me out, and my other client aswell, server appeared to be up, yet i could not connect, just stuck at authenticating for 4 mins till client timeout due to server not responding.
5 mins later i try again, now i can get in, now my characters are bugged, i can't see or do anything ingame, nothing works. I can't do anything other than speak in local or warp around.

if it still doesn't work there might have been a node crash and wait an hour or two. If it doesn't work after that click my petitions in the eve support section on the left side of your browser and file a stuck petition. __________________________ Why babelfish is bad mmm k "which the night do not expect that it calls the primary education before becoming deformed inside" |

I'm not stuck though, i can warp, i can jump through gates, i'm just unable to use modules or do anything that you would actually do when you play EVE. I can't even change my ammo.
I've tried relogging aswell.

File a stuck petition regardless so they can reset your character manually like Downtime would. At least thats one other option you have tried.
And as I said in your last thread about this, try wiping the client off your HD and reinstalling everything. ------

Interesting post as i was in gyng at the same time and suffered a lot of lag with 2 of our corp m8's there.
when the lag subsided our 2 corp m8s were in frarn and now when we all dock at the same station we cant trade with each other as it says were not in the station. Also well all logged out and back in and sometimes it would show each other in local but not in the station and other times it shows in station but not in local.
The reason for posting this is the timing of your post it the same time we have the server lag and was about 10 mins after when everything broke for us 3 too.

Please try and log out and rename your ...ccp\eve\cache folder to temp-cache, also please rename your capture folder. That will reset all settings for your client.
If you successfully resolved the issue by renaming your cache folder you can simply delete your temp-cache folder as it was the source of your troubles in this matter. Make sure not to copy any files over from the old cache folder to the new one.
Please note that clearing your cache will remove any folders that you used to organise bookmarks and/or address book entries. To restore these you can copy the settings folder from the backup of your cache to the new cache, however this may result in the error returning.
If these steps do not resolve your issue, please submit a petition.

I would suggest petitioning in the Stuck category.

Just been given the standard bs reply, i am being moved into the tech support queue, they want me to run dxdiag and send in files etc, i don't see how this will help anything. I have tried this on my other pc and it gets the same problem. This problem is related to my character, there is nothing wrong on my end. My other account works fine btw.

Another error to add to the list, if i get out of a ship now, all the modules go offline, this only happens for my bugged character. There is a serious problem here and i think it's related pure to the EVE server and nothing to do with me and my client installion.

I have brought this thread to the attention of the GMs. They have recommended repackaging the ship and modules on it. If that does not resolve the issue, submit a petition from in-game.

It's not the ship that's bugged though, it's my character, i've changed to another ship and i'm having the exact same problems as before.
I also had this happen to me a day ago. My character got kicked and stayed logged in even though nobody was actually playing it, i tried to log back in and could not at first, when i finally did log back in, nothing was working properly, and my character was basically unplayable until the server downtime which fixed the problem. Also to note, my other char on my other account that i had logged in, who this bug also effected, he appeared in local and his ship was even in space even though that character had been dropped and not logged back in. The character and his ship stayed logged in for about an hour until i logged in over it, had the authenticating problem, and then finally managed to log in over the character. At which point that account became super-bugged aswell.
That's the best description i can give you really of whats happening.

Now my friends who this has also happend to just had something even weirder happen.
We are sat here doing nothing, and suddenly their ships start to warp in a random direction 999,999m KM for NO REASON! One of them cancelled the warp and didn't warp anywhere, and the other one got warped to a 1 million KM away random spot... Nobody told their ships to warp anywhere.

After the random warp thing, i got booted from EVE without even knowing it, when i noticed, i logged back in and now all seems fixed. Some GM magic i assume?

I bet you can`t change skills neither. Not on a PC with EvE right now, but if that happens to you, when you press ESC there`s quite a few option there to fix it, for example it forces the program to stop training the skill, rebooting, etc. I had the same exact problem, and this solved it. Would love to be more clear, but as I have no EvE here at work, can`t do an exact walkthrough.
