Wars - who can shoot who?

Jack Irish	Posted - 2007.01.11 00:51:00 - [1] I couldn't find it anywhere or any type of rules posted so i have a few questions involving war and any revisements w/ Rev. If a player YOU are at WAR w/ is in a gang w/ members of that gang who are NOT at War with YOU can they shoot you w/o agression countdown? If a player QUITS his corporation after recieiving a WAR DEC can the corp that dec'd SHOOT that player. Can you shoot members of a war target's GANG w/o an Agression countdown. If players of a war target's gang cannot shoot you w/o agression, if u Fire upon the WAR TARGET IN THAT GANG, can the other members then Fire on you w/o Agression countdown. Thanks for everyones help in advance.!

Who can attack who? - A is allowed to attack B (regular war target). - B is allowed to attack A (regular war target). - B is allowed to attack C (C is in gang with a war target of B) - C is not allowed to attack B (You are not allowed to attack unless you have an active war dec) - C is allowed to attack B after B attacks C (self defense is allowed, always) - C is not allowed to attack B even if B attacks A (attacking a gang member does not flag you) Also a small detail to note: - B has no indictation whatsoever that C is in a gang with A, so attacking C is playing with the devil (risking a Concord retaliation). ---------- These are my views and mine alone. Thats how it should work but it doesn't always(maybe because i was in a fleet). I was ganged with A and B shot at me causing the sentries to shoot at B. Now the question is if i'm not in As gang and I remote rep A, can B shoot me?

Yes, they recieve a warning when joining a gang with a person involved in a war. They knew the risks. However if you do engage them, they are free to defend themselves. The person you shot can return fire. Gangmates that are also in the warring corp can fire as they are at war.
