Some of you are aware of whats happening in Malestrum space some of you arent. Basically all the people who have been attacking us have now moved their attention onto them.
In short we have been given authorisation to help male defend their space. If they fall, the big enemy blob that is currently attacking them will finish us off in ZX without question. Thus over the weekend we re going to be fully commmited to helping them defend their space in I-N.
Gentlemen war has come to this area of space, our previous stance of not getting involved in such warfare will not allow us to survive. If we sit here and do nothing we ll just be waiting for ourselves to get wiped out so we re going to do something about it and fight alongside our allies.
Fight for their space as it is your own because essentially it is.
This is off the ISS forums.
Seems ISS is going to be directly helping in I-N. Is this really in the best interests of the shareholders?
Owe well looks like more lag i guess, thats all they ll be useful for.

I guess they can't when the attackers can take the stations away from them as well.
But seriously, who'd want a station on their doorstep that anyone can dock in, and why has the ISS business model worked for so long??? Life is about memories the more the better. Looking for CCP to improve availability of their GTC's, for non card carriers! |

As that post (if it is from internal ISS forums) clearly states ISS is just attacking the fleets that previously declared war on ISS and attacked ISS stations. What is not neutral and not apolitical about engaging those fleets, no matter where they are? They are fleets still in a state of war with ISS. ---------- These are my views and mine alone. They do not represent the official stance of my corporation or alliance in any way.

Yeah, how they dare to suggest fighting against folks who attacked them.

If this would prove to be true, and ISS involvement in I-NGI8 to actually happen, United Legion will be forced to become immediately hostile towards ISS. Due notice will be served in such case to avoid blue on blue fire, in form of evemails to Count Tasessine and Nyphur and/or any other ISS reps known to be active enough.
Just as a friendly gesture, I would question the wisdom of such aggression, as the fate of I-NGI8 is already sealed. POS superiority is achieved by TCF, and as the POSes in reinforced still hold sovereignity these days, even if a successful POS siege will be effected next weekend, it won't change anything. It will only make people angry at ISS now even angrier and attract more of them to finish ISS off, not to mention the fact that those who already were at I-NGI8 to help against possible LV deployment will certainly come back there again. Losses that would be inevitably incurred in such a battle will just detract from available resources for any fight in ZXIC.

As a little sidenote (which is likely to receive flame response), I hope these spies realize that in many countries they are breaking an actual law by copying a message from a private communications systems to somewhere else. Severity of such increases if (and as obvious) access to such system has been gained by false means.
As an example in Finland you can receive max. sentence of two years in jail from offending electronic communications privacy law (16.6.2004/516, multiple sections). Such laws exist in most civilized countries.
And don't be fooled to think such laws are something in relation to pirating a game or a movie, which is claimant legistlation mostly and thus relatively harmless.

Tbh seeing how they operate in (justified) belief they're next to shoot, the possibility of getting some more people shooting them for helping "enemy of our enemies", than they already have... doubtful it makes any real difference in their eyes.

Just goes to show - there's no such thing as "neutral"
Eventually, somebody's going to take the whole "If you aren't with us, you're against us" stance, and lump you in with the enemy. bye-bye neutrality, hello annihilation.
Can't blame ISS for trying, but the only people to adequately pull of neutrality thus far have been the Swiss.
