one thing i was thinking about, and it probably was already sugested, its one option to recover skillpoints from skills the player is not using anymore.
Lets say that Player "X" have a lot of skillpoints in mining skills, and he is not mining anymore, so he can recover the skill points and place it on another skills more usefull to him.
i know that is something complicated because some skills are chained, and maybe CCP will charge for the change, but i think it is not impossible at all...
The number of times the player can make this, should be limited to prevent abuse, i think one time each 4 months is enough, maybe less...

Honestly no, its not like wow, u cannot respec here. U train for something, u wait and you got the effect. ----------------- My english bad, F1, F2, F3, F4...

no. you make your decisions for good or bad with your suggestion youd have simple pvp clones . undustrial clones all running around with the same training . the game would lose too much individualitey in characters . i have pioints in industry i dont normally need . but umm thats my fault . vbut my pe5 is sometimes usefull to build a new harbringer or whatever .
sorry but your suggestion would be the door to generic npc er builds etc etc . soo i whole heartedly disagree

I too have made some mistakes in training characters Posidrive is a Manufacturing character now but my main is a Damage dealer/tanking char who has PE4.7 (never got round to finishing it LOL) So to give me the chance to remove them and correct my mistakes would take away a lot of the reason I love the game. Mistakes get you killed Getting Killed loses you ISK Losing ISK makes the Eve Merrygoround keep spinning

Eh...it doesn't make that significant a difference. It would just be a little disadvantageous to the people who didn't make the same mistakes in their training (i.e. the people that wasted skills, then simply made an alt with the combat skills they should have trained from the get-go).
IF (and very big if) this would turn into making generic characters with similar skills, then that would be mainly a problem with Eve mechanics, for making so many of the skills completely useless (science and drones, I'm looking at you).
So, in effect, it wouldn't change a whole lot.
