Selling myself. Character focused on mining and trasnporting. VEry good skills. Exhumers on lvl 5, mining drones tech2. Capable of flying Obelisk and gallente transport ships(skills already trained). It has 1 jump clone near Jita and set of +3 implants (except charisma). Character is sell without assets or isks.
Starting price: 1,2 bil
Reserve: 1,6 bil
Bid increment: 50 mil
Buyout: 2 bil
End date: 16 January 20:00 eve time

Why have a start at less than the reserve? See this on some auctions and don't quite understand. If I bid 1.2 are you going to refuse if thats the high bid? Or just reserve the right to not sell (but you might) for less than 1.6.
Want to understand before bidding.

If highest bid will be under reserve i might consider to sell. It just kind of protection if char wil be underpriced.

So make your minimum bid higher.
Imho min. should reflect reserve as I see no reason to have a reserve. You want to sell, or do you not want to sell.. that is the question :)
Basically, if people think you're overpriced they won't bid and you will have lost nothing. On the other hand if you price your minimum(reserve) right people will bid and you won't have lost. The reserves, hidden or not, just seems to me like a way for people to say "if I dont get more than it is really worth, I just won't sell" and that is lame, isn't it?
The argument "lower minimum will encourage bidding" is vague at best anyway. If the price is right and the item/char is wanted people will bid anyway, so its an excuse rather than an argument.
Anyway.. nice charachter and good luck getting it sold :)

it's sold already as you should be able to see
problem is we can't transfer it for some unknown problem
yesterday he opened a petition under i don't know which tab because i didn't find any about character transfers, nor could find any useful info in the faqs
we're waiting for an answer
if the transfer can't be done i'll let you know

This topic is not for comments but for bids. If U have anny comments just make topic with comments and stop spaming here. At the moment character is sold. We have some problems with tranfser and waiting for ccp respond.

trustful guy, i gave the money him multiple times because of the troubles we've had and he never attempted to keep it, even if "the occasion makes the man a thief" (don't know if this saying translates well, hope so ^^' )
i would buy an entire family from him :P
well, as you can see, i'm actually writing from his character, everything went fine after a gm solved my issue with the account
