Hey folks;
General rules:
Auctions end at 0200 UTC, 7th November.
Contracts will be put up in Jita station upon close of bidding.
Each lot is a separate auction.
Bid and minimum increment is listed for each lot.
Hidden reserve.
No buy-outs.
30 minute sniper rule; if someone tries to snipe a lot at the end of bidding, bidding remains open until 30 minutes after the last bid.
Lots:
Lot 1: 5 Drifter Hive Element sets, composed of 5 each Barbican, Conflux, Redoubt, Sentinel and Vidette Elements. 1.25b starting bid; 50m minimum increment.
Lot 2: 5 Drifter Hive Element sets, composed of 5 each Barbican, Conflux, Redoubt, Sentinel and Vidette Elements. 1.25b starting bid; 50m minimum increment.
Lot 3: 5 Drifter Hive Element sets, composed of 5 each Barbican, Conflux, Redoubt, Sentinel and Vidette Elements. 1.25b starting bid; 50m minimum increment.
Lot 4: 5 Drifter Hive Element sets, composed of 5 each Barbican, Conflux, Redoubt, Sentinel and Vidette Elements. 1.25b starting bid; 50m minimum increment.
Lot 5: Vidette Element remainders, 6 Vidette Elements. 300m bid, starting; 10m minimum increment.
Lot 6: Redoubt Element remainders, 5 Redoubt Elements. 250m bid, starting; 10m minimum increment.
FAQ:
Question: what are these even for?
Answer: to be honest, we don't know! They're acquired at great difficulty from the core of the Drifter Hives, and we suspect these could be used for anything from new Doomsday inputs to player-built stargates to the shiniest paperweights known to man. We just don't know. However, it seems likely they'll be useful for something strange, new, and interesting.
Question: how many of these are there circulating?
Answer: not many. This is the first ever public sale of complete sets of Drifter Hive Elements. I personally have sold one complete set directly to Entity. Otherwise, aside from a small selection of dedicated Drifter hunters, there are no sets known to be in the hands of major powers or players.
Question: if you don't know what these are for, how do you know they'll be valuable?
Answer: I don't, not necessarily. However, CCP has started playing very coy indeed with some of their new systems. We didn't necessarily know that Antikythera Elements would be an input for Entosis Links until rather after AKE started appearing. However, while Circadian Seekers and to a limited degree Drifter Battleships are farmable, the Drifter Hive Elements are not easily acquired. If or when CCP uses these Hive Elements as an input for something new, it will likely be without much warning, and with very few indeed available. Consider this a way to get ahead of the game.
Question: if these are so valuable, why are you selling them?
Answer: fighting Drifters is expensive. To provide for SRP and to make it worthwhile to pilots, some portion of our element reserves will need to be sold. Trust me, the Consortium and IKAME retain significant reserves of elements for our own use.

If the buyer of complete sets are unable to convert the element sets to Coalesced Elements without assistance, IKAME and the Consortium will assist those buyers. Consider this freely-given insurance to preserve the value of any party's purchase.
