If you were to only see 10 movies in your life, which movies
would those be, and why ?. What makes them so good compared
to the rest of the many movies youŠve seen ?.
My 10 movies.
Godfather 1-3. Because they are history in moviemaking, with
some of the best acting ever from Al Pacino. And the end of
part 3 is my all time best movie ending where Pacino, in an
awesome way, shows the agony it must be to loose a daughter.
LoTR 1-3. Say what you want, but these movies are magical.
HEAT. Robert DT Niro, Al Pacino and Val Kilmer, all of them
doing outstanding performances. And the shootout at the
backrobbery must be the most realistic in moviemaking sofar.
The Horsewhisperer. Robert Redford and Scarlet Johansson
in a movie about friendship, love and that things can be hard
or just as easy as you make it.
Boondock Saints. Godmode movie, simple as that.
SchindlerŠs List. May these events that took place, never be forgotten.
Bob farted, ASCN burped & then there was a nodecrash.

1. Saving Private Ryan. Does this even need any explanation?
2. Leon. This shouldn't either.
3. Planet of the Apes (The original, not that horrible remake.) See above.
4. Children of Dune. One of the few book (or in this case, books) to movie translations that got everything unimportant wrong, but everything critically important so absolutely right.
5. What Dreams May Come. One can't leave out Robin William's finest performance.
6. Soylent Green. Spoiler: IT'S PEOPLE!
7. Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. Proof that Christopher Lambert is an entirely underrated actor, for no other actor could've pulled off that role.
8. Gettysburg. Makes the American Civil War far more personal than the "LOL SLAVES!" line you get in history textbooks.
9. Cast Away. At least an hour of Tom Hanks not saying a single word. This is pure theatrical brilliance.
10. Anything with Christopher Walken in it.

It's pretty hard to me to pick up 10 movies since cinema is one of my hobbies, but let's see...
1. Shawshank Redemption (this is definetly the best movie i've EVER watched)
2. Saving Private Ryan
3-5. Lord of The Rings 1-3
6. The Last Castle
7. Old School (because i love comedies and this one rocks!)
8. Gone in 60 Seconds
9. Con Air
10. Ying xiong (otherwise known as Hero)
Other titles worth mentioning: Forrest Gump, Last Castle, Harold & Kumar (comedy <3), Fearless (for the wicked fighting scenes), Full Metal Jacket, American History X, The Negotiator ... and so many more, lol...

Took memento outta the 10 slot and put in 12 angry men. What an awesome film, black and white from 1957- basically 12 guys sat in a room for about an hour and a half and THATS IT. Sounds crap? Really isn't.

If I had eleven spots, I might've mentioned it. But I keep getting confused, is that the one where Russell Crowe is a loony mathemetician and has an ill-looking cove of a friend who's not only a doctor, but an agent in His Majesty's intelligence service? Or the one where Russell Crowe is in command of a sleek frigate with lovely lines, chasing after an enemy frigate along with his imaginary friend?

The Shawshank Redemption - I've always loved films with a twist.
Fight Club - Ditto
Memento - Innovative film making at its finest
Blade Runner - Worth it just for the "Shoulder of Orion" speech, and the on-going debate about whether or Harrison Ford is himslef a replicant.
Brazil - Terry Gilliam's brilliant re-imaging of 1984. Funny, yet sinister.
Pulp Fiction - Fine directing, fine script, fine acting.
Trainspotting - One of the few films that manages to be simultaneously depressing and laugh out loud funny
Star Wars ep 4 - Nuff said.
Pale Rider - Clint Eastwood's finest performance, and a *****ing twist to the plot.
High Plains Drifter - Pale Rider's darker twin.

1-3: - Lord of the Rings from 1-3... Loved the books and loved the films just as much
4-6: - Star Wars 4-6... Simply one of the best Sci-fi trilogys ever, the news one are crap though..
7-8: Pirates of the Caribbean... I love Jhonny Depts acting in these and also pirates and pointy objects and stuffs 
9: James Bond: Casino Royale... Oh come on.. it's James Bond, guns n girls and fast cars 
10: Gladiater.. Awesome soundtrack and a great movie to watch...

In no particular order I would say:
1. Pulp Fiction - The apex of realistic dialogue.
2. Ghost in the Shell - The apex of anime.
3. The Life Aquatic - Because the characters are great and every part of the film fits together so well.
4. South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut - Classic 
5. Donnie Darko - Cause even though it doesn't make much sense the first 5 times you watch it, it makes you think.
6. The Shawshank Redemption - The plot.
7. Trainspotting - For that weird mix of emotions and no holds barred look at the world of ******.
8. The Departed/b] - A modern Reservoir Dogs.
9. Team America: World Police - What can I say? I've never seen a musical that funny, except maybe South Park.
10. [b]Godfather trilogy - Nothing more to say.

1 Dances with Wolves - epic
2 Braveheart - might not be accurate, but very entertaining
3 Jeremiah Johnson - solitude rules...to a certain extent and Redford's best film
4 Airplane - funny as hell
5 One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest - Jack Nicholson is awesome
6 Shawshank Redemption - hope & friendship
7 LOTR Trilogy - grand scale
8 Jaws - Spielberg at his best
9 Raiders of the Lost Ark - rollercoaster ride
10 Being There - Peter Sellers was simply the best
