Haha it seems they do. There logo is on the pictures anyway, and those character heads look strangly familiar.

looks like fairly standard asset management software.
and there was me assuming CCP would be using their own proprietary stytem for something like eve

As far as I know:
-Programing they use stackless python.
-For server they use IBM tools.
-For artist, don't know. probably 3dMax/Maya (forgot wich one)
-Database are "Microsoft SQL server" on "Windows 2005 server"
-They sub contracted some beta Testing/GM to some unknow people (probably close to Europe, like United-Kingdom)
-There also build patch and other stuff...

Avid software is a standard in digital imaging and movie making so im no suprised they use it.

They also use Perforce[ref] which is SCM soloution, perhaps they use Alienbrain for content (Models, Textures, Graphics, etc) and Perfoce for code.
As far as I am aware there is no such thing as Window Server 2005, Windows Server 2003 R2 (Release 2) perhaps. Although I seem to remember that they were using 2000, they may well have upgraded since then, I know they were looking at switching when they got the new blades in.

My deepest sympathies to CCP if they're stuck using Alienbrain. It's horendous crap. We're in the process of moving at least 6 teams away from it...

Is it just me or is the amarrian character in those videos significantly higher quality than the rest?
Which leads me onto something I've been wondering; are CCP upgrading the portrait graphics along with the rest of the graphics upgrades?
