I have decided after a long run of bad luck to quite playing EVE. I will still be on to train skills and maybe someday after all the new stuff comes out return.
I would like to say thanks to CCP for such a great game... keep up the good work.
To all the people in the community, theres alot of carebares but for the most part its been a pleasure.... Take care.

My goodness WarHound, don't quit just because you can't take the heat in the forums. Maybe the discussions were just too much for you and the final straw, but you really shouldn't let the game get to you.
But, if you want to leave because of a run of bad luck, see ya.
Instead of quitting, you could always buy a new module:
Good Luck Skill, Low Slot Module, No Power, No CPU; Gives 5% bonus to luck value in game. 
EDITED LATER: Just saw your other message saying you died. Yes, your luck is not working right now. But enough to quit the game? Maybe your luck will improve.....

Keep it until the end of december. The tech 2 patch is coming during the middle of the month, so if after the patch and 2 weeks of playing you arent happy, leave then.

We are still working out the last tidbits of how they can be over taken, what is the penalty of having a sentry gun kill a n00b etc. and we have been a bit busy with plugging the holes that people have found.I would say that you'd start to see these items on the market in about 2-3 weeks, very expensive to begin with |

I'll be around and if the patch is good maybe i'll stay. The forum wars don't bother me =). All my bad luck has been ingame with me making n00b mistakes and costing myself a fortune.

At least you you had a fortune! I'm strugling to get myself to a battleship. Perhaps the targetting changes will give my cruiser a use in pvp so the long hours of mining wont bore me to death completely.
Anyway, I hope you stay around, eve is just starting to get cooking it seems (and all of our favourites are back! like Zap and stavvy.....who never really left)

I will perhaps be leaving with WarHound--he was actually the reason I've stayed so long, though I've been bored for quite some time. It's a great game, but I have a very low tolerance for immaturity. I've tried to keep myself calm and to play a role through respect and honor, and have gotten nothing but trash from the players. There of course have been several great players, but I can't keep playing with the lack of maturity in most the playerbase, along with what Jash has been talking about--the lack of Motive in this game. Only time will tell. At the very least, I need a vacation.
