So, The results are in, we have the winners of all the categories for the EVE awards 2006.
A total of 26 sets of nominations were made (isn't that a disapointing number?).
Some members decided that they would vote for themselves and I have included those nominations in the results under "XXXX's Ego" - I have also tried to link or provide information on each winner so to let newer players know who or what each event/person is.
EVE - The Game
 Most notorious pirate?
Tiller with 8 votes
He joined EVE in early 2004 and currently has a bounty of 149 million ISK and is also -10 security status 
Oh yeah and - "Gingers Ego"
Most sucessful corporation?
Outbreak with 9 votes
Most sucessful Alliance?
BoB with 19 votes
Famous recently for the destruction of the ASCN titan and the subsequent beating of ASCN in their war. Perhaps the most feared alliance in EVE.
Best newcomer? (Corporation or Alliance)
Privateer's with 7 votes
Goonswarm came in a close second with 6 votes. Privateer's has to be the most original idea for an alliance, War-deccing every major alliance to provide a target rich environment for anyone who wants to join.
Greatest moment?
Impoc Destruction with 11 votes
In the third alliance tournament final, one of the rarest ships was unveiled and ultimatley destroyed, hailed as a very gutsy move by Tyraxx. Thread
Funniest moment?
LV Titan unveiled with 9 votes
So LV have a titan? Goonswarm found out the hard way with 215 kills from one doomsday blast.
Biggest screw-up?
Titan Down with 29 votes
One of the biggest shockers, not long after announcing they were the first allaince to build a Titan, ASCN lose it to BoB, in some unusual circumstances. Titan Down
Most famous player?

Aye, had to use a zero. It wouldn't let us use Outbreak with an O when making the corp for some reason iirc.
