Contract will not let you trade ship unless there is no ammo in the guns: "2007.01.12 08:56:29 Info A ship included in this contract has live charges loaded into its weapons. For example, the charge type "EMP S" is loaded and ready to fire. Don't you know how dangerous that is? You cannot create this contract unless you remove the charges from the weapons and place them in your ship's cargo hold instead."
strangely - this seem intentional (was this put in to prohibit people from trading cruise kessies)?
unfortunately - Weirda trying to trade a ship to a corpmate - very far away, in station w/o office etc. the ship is damaged... therefore the following contracts don't work: -auction -item exchange -loan
freeform is worthless and does nothing at all
Courier have 'bug' that seem attached to the 'warning' Weirda quoted at top of post... when you try to create courier mission it is 'unable to unload the ammo' from the guns.
is there a workaround? please please help if there is. filing bug report now. am considering filing a 'stuck' petition because this is so painfully retarded. __ Weirda Join QotSA |

Yes, this is by design.
The freeform contracts is a very specialiced form of contracts that is intended mainly for large corporations to be able to hand out tasks to they're members and follow up on the progress.

Then, perhaps an option needs to be added to remotely "Unload Ammo", so that we can set assembled ship contracts remotely, as I don't know of many people that unload their ship whenever they dock , or how about, I dunno, an automatic "Unload All" function that occurs when you place a ship on contract? ------------------- |

it actually seem like this try to happen when you do courier. it give you error message about 'no room to unload ammo' or something.
Weirda understand that freeform are by design to be way they are - but all of the other ones as they exist are in a very broken state with regard to this.

Please bloody redesign this then. It is unacceptable that you can not remotely contract a ship to a buddy just because it has ammo in the guns or a can in the hold. Never leaving ships with ammo or cans loaded is not an acceptable solution. Either allow remote unloading ( without repackaging and voiding the insurance ), or fix the contracts so they just accept the ship as is.

Whoever had this stupid idea should not infer that we are children, and should remove it
If it`s a try at humour, then it has fallen very flat

One issue with the item exchange that I just ran into that it is impossible to put used tech 2 laser crystals into the item exchange because the game considers them damaged. I'm sure this is also "by design" but I humbly suggest that the design be reviewed.

Was the point of the design to add yet more travel timesinks to the game, because of course people will forget to unload their guns?

By the way...
Yesterday evening I tried to contract an assembled and fitted mining barge to a member "on behalf of my corporation" from one of the corporate hangar divisions. What should I say? You cannot do that.
The error message is like "The item <uid number> is not yours to take" or something. Clearly stating that if I don't own this, I cannot contract this. Thus my mate didn't get this ship remotely or in other words, couldn't do contracting withing the corporation.
Oke Cortes, I gif up. You won. 400x80 @ 23,239 bytes ^_^ |
