If one can be in PL for as long as Apothne has been without catching bittervet disease, then that is a testament to a positive attitude.
As CZ editor and colleague I can testify that Apothne has true enthusiasm for the game, a great positive attitude, personal integrity and no strange delusions or pretensions about what being on the CSM means.
That being said, don't vote for him or he wont have time to write his amazing tournament reviews for Crossing Zebras anymore. |

It's been a long time since I have lived in HiSec (~3 years). My HiSec activities are mostly restricted to station trading in Jita which is how I make my ISK. I am interested in the development of war dec mechanics and have recently gotten involved in the new war dec group proposal. I am also providing consultancy PvP knowledge and tactics to E-Uni FCs to assist them there. I actually started my FCing by fighting HiSec wars with E-Uni of varying scale.
Largely speaking people in HiSec should vote for me because they think even though I am a candidate who is not from their space, I am one who is open minded and can come to less familiar issues without an overriding bias. One who will will listen to and consider their issues and concerns, rather than just representing what is best for the group of players I am most closely affiliated with in the game, regardless of how it affects everyone else. |

Nice edit, done like a true candidate, but by liking CODE you only gained 0.000000000000001 of the vote in highsec.

So, I've been listening to your last appearance on the Jeffraider Show, and I have to see I'm really glad I voted for you.
Your point about the dichotomy about PvE and PvP, and the forced separation between PvE and PvP fits, is pretty much what I have been thinking about for a long time. And I totally agree with the notion that making PvP fits the defacto fits would ease more people into pvp.
Those who disagree think that it is not a good idea because they wouldn't get *all* carebears to start PvPing, that's faulty thinking. FW plexes have not made all their users into pvpers, but they still made *some* of them into people ready to sometimes stand their grounds.
This is what eradicating all those PvE fits could do to eve as a whole, ease people into being active in the tisk/reward equation instead of the binary running away at the first sign of trouble.
Anyway, I really hope you make it into the CSM, we could use more people that are not afraid of the PvP potential of the game. |

Getting a math degree is a great idea. I wish I had a first degree in math because there are many topics in my current work where I could benefit from a more sophisticated view of the tools.
As for EVE math, no worries. I'm just spreading the joy around. You are actually very familiar with the continuous equations for motion, being a first-order diff-eq. I'm going to try to post solutions for all of the questions before the 25th.
