ok, i have a strange issue whit the font when i start up eve on my laptop.
i have a quite ok laptop ram and cpu wise.. but the gfx is integrated and is not that good
font looks like this
my friend managed to fix it about a year ago.. but i cant remember how he did it.

What graphix card do you have? There certainly is a setting that fixes this, but it varies from ati to nvidia.
LE: Wild guess: NVIDIA?

Sis blows bigtime, BTW.
Do you have any kind of configuration app or control panel applet for your card? If none is installed check the CD's that came with your laptop

nope.. very limited controls and cant find enything on the CD allso :( have to slap my m8 around.. mybe he remember how he fixed it :P

For me it looks like your laptop screen is not on its native resolution.
Allmost all LCD monitors has only one working resolution (1024x768, 1280x1024, etc.)
and if other resolutions are set fonts appear blured and jagged.
Same goes with refresh rate - it should be 60Hz becouse LCDs operates different than CRT monitors.

I had the same problem on my laptop, which also has the onboard M760GX graphics adapter. I've downloaded the updated drivers (version 3.78) from SiS and they make them readable, but still not perfect.
It does let you play the game though, which i guess is the aim at the end of the day!

there was a fix awhile ago where ppl were swapping out the font file it happen on my notbook around 04-05 i have no clue if it would work with revelations now i sold it and got a desktop
