My inteceptor skill will be done in a half hour or so and i cant wait to fly the crusader, Now i know amarr is certainly not the best for pvp, but what if Em/Thermal was the targets lowest resist and you are 100% certain there damage type is explosive, and that they will be in either a Battlecruiser and a battleship, Would it be possiable to solo kill them using either the Crusader? I think so!
Crusader - Golden Blade
4x Dual Modulated Pulse Energy Beam(1 week from T2 plus they wont fit on this setup)
1x T2 Afterburner 1x Named Scrambler
1x N-Type EANM or energized explosive 1x Beta/Local CPR 1x Extruded Heat sink 1x T2 SAR
EXTREAMLY TIGHT FIT
Afterbuner so you can go relatively fast(1300ms+) and not get whacked at full damage by missiles, and the goal is to speed tank as much damage as possiable while the repairers there for those annoying missiles and light drones, and just where him down untill no cap due to a lousy setup or run out of ammo and ransom him.
Thoughts?

T2 heat sinks have easier fitting requirements.
Sad, but true. |

You're never going to survive a real fight in an interceptor, so you should drop any thoughts of tanking it, even a little to be honest.
In PvP, the task of the interceptor is to catch people and hold them in place as long as possible before the main force arrives to kill them. It's also good for scouting.
If you're solo PvPing, get a Retribution or Vengeance.
If you're in a small gang, fit, in order:
Most expensive MWD you're willing to lose. 20km scram. CPR in all low slots = infinitely sustainable mwd'ing OR i-stabs in all low slots = extreme MWD speed boost, close to the 5km/s with a T1. Whatever will fit in hislots, if guns, try to make them hit over 10km so you can orbit outside of web range. ------ ------

Been playing with a few setups lately, both fairly effective.
For small roaming frig gangs, I focussed on damage and close up scrambling.
4x Gatling Pulse II
1x Faint Epsilon Scrambler 1x 1Mn MWD (or named if you don't fancy the current silly prices)
1x Small 'accom' rep 2x Heat Sink IIs 'Refuge' Adaptive Nano
I get more dps out of this setup than my previous setup with 4x Dual Light Pulse Iis and only 1x HS2 (in fact the Gatling Iis with scorch get 9km optimal and so more damage than the 1 damage mod DLP2 setup with conflag).
For tackling, i go with:
4x Dual Light Beam II
1x Catalysed MWD 1x Faint 20km scrambler
1x Small 'Accom' rep 1x Beta Cap Power Relay 1x Named Nanofiber 1x Named Overdrive
Extremely quick, low dps but you can stay out of web and medium nos range (don't tackle a curse heh).
