I use a lvl 4 caldari navy internal security agent. my goal is to get a navy raven or navy raven BPC offer.
When i first broke the 500k LP mark, i got the 500k offer for a CNR BPC for Estamel's tag and some others. Couldnt get a reasonable price on the tag so i turned it down hoping for a different CNR offer.
Since then i have just been farming offers--running 1 mission then waiting for an offer, turning it down and running another mission, etc...
I am now up to 610k LP and havent gotten another CNR offer since. I must have turned down the same 400k implant offer 10 times now.
So now my question:
How rare are the CNR offers? Am i just getting extrodinarily unlucky? Did i totally screw myself by turning down the initial offer for tags? Is there any way i can improve my chances?

I think the more reasonable CNR offer is at 600k lp so if you just reached that its not so strange that you havent seen the offer since.

I am at 610k with Caldari Corporate Police Force and have yet to get the CNR offer. Been getting a few +5 offers for 450k so I assume my next step up will be 500k CNR. I am going to hit the missions hard the next two days so hopefully it will come soon.

You need about 20% extra LP:s to reach most of the offers. There's limits though after which you won't reach specific offers anymore.
Confused? I'll try to explain it in a bit simpler way:
CNR offer #1 - 500k LP. You have 510k LP, you receive the offer. You decline it. CNR offer #2 - 600k LP. You have 610k LP, you're not receiving the offer. You get your LP up to 680k LP. You receive CNR offer #2. You decline it for some odd reason. You get your LP up to 701k LP. You won't receive CNR offer #2 anymore.

Makes sense, but does it apply to other offers or just the faction BS offers? I am still getting the 400k implant offer even after i broke 600k.

I got my first CNR (500k lp's, 200 mill. isk) offer at 900K LP's. I got my second CNR (same offer as above) at 537K LP. So it's all luck.

Heh, what part of 'random' didn't you understand
You can still get the 500k CNR offer when your're up to 800-900k. You can also get it at 500k + 1LP. I got mine at 506k, so there's no '10% above' rule as someone claimed above....
Good luck on getting it

I'm trying to understand this whole offer thing...why would one decline an offer?

The 600K offer is better LP to isk wise then the 500K + tags offer. The 600K offer req, a Nexux chip 90-110m +500 superconductors + a normal raven = app. 190m for a built CNR The 500K offer req. Estemals tag + some others. The tags is about 250m + materiels for the shipe it self = app. 350M. And the tag can be hard to come by when you need it. |

Drek: One would decline an offer in order to save the LP and wait for a different and/or better offer.
The 20% is obviously not consistent with reality, but there must be some system by which they limit which offers you get. Otherwise you would continue to get every offer from 100LP up to the amount you have. I have found that the lowest offer i get once i readch the 5-600k range is 400k, so theres got to be some kind of limitation on it.
PS isnt there also a 500k LP CNR offer for 200mil isk? I know its in the eve-info database...

well... is there anything worth even more then 600k LP being offered? If not it would explain why some 600k offers remain popping up.
