I vaguely remember a while back, Pann saying that with a new website coming, that they will be implementing their own forum search feature.
I agree that the 3rd party form search tool created by one of the players is nice and handy, but that was only intended as a band-aid fix until CCP actually created one of their own.
Unless it's somewhere where i'm not looking, but i can't see it.
Time could have been better spent designing a forum search feature, than that stupid "Hot-or-Not" feature.

while I don't ever recall seeing this, it was posted in the dev blog that a few features are still comming to the site and that they will bere here shortly. They just wanted to get the newsite up and then add stuff after the 'main' part was working good. And considering all the broken links (mainly on out of the way pages, nothing right from the eve-online main)that could be found yesterday vs today...

I couldn't agree more Locuila... I've been working on updating the forum search, but with the new design, the whole scripting has to change.... so do I put any work into it? or hope CCP is going to add the search soon?
I'm fine either way, but I'd just like to know so that I don't waste work.
Edit: Oh, and P.S. I also dig the look of the new site. Very soothing and techy... kudos

Yeah i remember seeing this too. But if the forum search feature is one of those that were put on hold so that they could get the 'meat' of the website online, then they're just using us a 'beta testers' for their nice shiny new skeleton of a site.
I'd prefer to have something thoroughly tested and fully feature-implemented, than having something released in stages. (Eve notwithstanding).
