Here is how to reduce lag in Jita.
1. Go to Jita 4-4 with an alt. Move 20km or so away from the station. Say that you're having a drop party since your main is quitting the game, and will be dropping a whole bunch of faction items and the like in cans for people to grab. Mention some really good loot, etc. If possible, fit the alt with a heavily plated T2 industrial ship. If people cargo scan you and ask why you don't have much good, tell them that you're coming with the main batch with a second character.
2. Get your main and as many friends as you can (at least one preferably) to sit next to you in a battleship (but don't come until after the announcement). Pretend like you're waiting for loot. However, come in fully-plated ships with 8 large named smartbombs.
3. You will get CRAPLOADS of people sitting right next to you waiting for good loot. If you want, drop something reasonably valuable (maybe 20k zydrine, whatever) to get people coming.
4. Slam the smartbombs.
5. Laugh your head off as you get 50+ kills in one shot, plus pods. Loot everything with an alt if you really want to.

Can you set smartbombs next to gates? If you can just wait till sunday night when there lots of people on and theres jump queues pick a gate with 30+ waiting.

You need to be more than 5km away from the gate/station. Since smartbomb range is 5km anyway its not a issue.
However, if you use some faciton long range smartbombs (6km-10km), you can blow them up without trying to lure them. With that said, I dont know anybody with 20bil to waste on a full rack of 10km smartbombs so till then, 5km smartbombs are your friend!

Yah a coordinated 5km bombing is more effective then a single guy with 10kms. get 9 or 10 8 smartbombers in an insured + plated ship.. see how many people you can take out at once ;)

Jump queues haven't been in game for a few weeks.
I like the baiting of everyone with lewt thing though. Only downside is you'd be outlawed after all that podding for sure.

how is that again, can i loot the wreckages with an alt right outside of a station or will the sentries have a problem with that?
am i close enough, 5km out to get the ships that are undocking from a station? |
