Fairly new player here. I can log in select my charecter then it hangs with the little loading bar that says entering the game as? Any ideas?

Yeah... I really advice you to move out of there as soon as you can. Like tomorrow during the day if you can (sunday evenings are bad too). Move to some other system. It can even be close by... you will notice much less lag and no problems at all logging in.
Jita is bad... too many people in the same system.

Yeah i jumped into jita and now i cant get into game just stuck at loading and if i wait long enough it takes me to the charecter select screen. PLZ Reload jita or something

I have been Jita many times. I have seen lag of course but never before have I been unable to simply enter the game? Is this typical for Jita or do you think I might have some other problem?
What ever it is it is really annoying. Training a skill is paramount in this game. Now it looks like I may waste a day with no training going on.

File a stuck petition and they'll move you out.
And yeah, you can expect this on friday/saturday/sunday evenings (GMT).

Ok thanks for the suggestion. I filed a stuck petition and they moved me right quick. Great customer service for the problem. Thanks. However, the root cause is still the game will not support the number of players that want to use JITA haha.

lol, the petition screen wont even open for me....logging in for 50 minutse now :(.......im never logging off in Jita ever again...even if i only come there 3 times a year

You can log a petition from the Eve-online web site. On the left under Eve Support.

same here.... i should've checked if we were beyond 30k concurrents, before i headed to motsu for trading purposes
while we're at it... what's an alternative (shortest) route to motsu from, say, rens?

Same problem here. Just moved there this afternoon for some trading. Now have been trying to log-in for almost 2 hours. This is pants.
