Ive been playing EvE off and on for about 5 years now, ive done pvp, fleet roams, faction warfare, industry, mining, worm holes and many other things the game offers. But the most fun i had in this game, by far, was when i was helping the burgeoning corp i joined on day 2 grow into a respectable entity with a bunch of less expirienced players like me. Taking this group from nothing but 3 noobs with an idea into a team with clear goals, completed milestones, and noticeable growth was the most enjoyable thing ive ever done in Eve, and nothing ive done since has been nearly as entertaining or worthwile.
What I want is to join a small or new budding corp and help them grow into a real force to be reckoned with. I dont have the patience or time to lead a group of my own, but helping a small corp, or teaching people with the charisma I lack how to effectively play the game and sharing what ive learned, seems the best route for me. I want to be a part of a group that clawed its way up from the bottom and made a name for themselves, not necessarily as a giant, but as a tangible force that earned its place.
What I am looking for
-A small group, either new or actively expanding
-Not pirates
-Willing to listen to advice of a relative veteran and dev-blog crawler
-not part of some large alliance, small alliances are okay but not preferred
-Limited or no capital assets, thats hardly from the ground up.
-Not 100% specialized. Not interested in mining only corp, but also not interested in a group that does nothing but hunt other players. I like to do more than one thing
About me
- Laid back, but devoted and loyal to a group or person that earns it
-Pretty jack of all trades, experienced pvp pilot and FC, capable miner and industrialist, experienced explorer with decent scanning skills, fair logistics ability, reliable mission running partner and able to do at least the basics of most other professions
-Able to fly a wide range of ships, from various t2 combat and logistics ships to the orca. Basically anything smaller than a capital ship
-Very active when properly inspired (doesnt take too much)
-Large knowledge base of existing mechanics even for things i dont do myself, and i read the dev blogs and expansion updates even when inactive, so am familiar with future releases as well

Back to Basics.
I founded this corp a year ago with the intent to do something cool and try out new things every day. So far we have been true to our word. We lived in a C4 WH for 6 months, low sec for another 6 months, and now we are gonna try aegis sov.
What are we about? Trying new things and proving that everything is simple, you just need to put a little effort into it.
What we offer:
- A chance to take 0.0 sov with a cool group of dudes
- Opportunity to advance and FC active dudes
- Many many killmails :)
- Goal oriented environment
- Teamwork
- A Strong FC ( ME! )
- Active Leadership and Direction
What do we want to achieve?
- We are here to go take sov for the sake of building sand castles and seeing how far we can get :)
- To grow a strong, independent group of players
- We want to go to 0.0 with a plan to take a small group of systems and learn how to live in 0.0 again
What we do not want to do:
- Be the next part of the blue donut
- "Bend the knee"
I hope this entices you as much as it does myself and my other members. Trying something new like this might seem complicated to some... but it's really knot!

You put alot of thought into your post, but you failed to mention the timezone you are looking for? That I think is #1 in my book as im recruiting only for the timezone I play in because my corp is small and I wouldnt want someone joining and being online by themselves 99% of the time. A little about me and my organization: I am a veteran pilot been playing Eve for like 7 years or something ridiculously long, I've had my own corp (The Xziles) off and on over that period of time, we have grown to be quite successful but ended up falling apart. Im in the process of trying to rebuild again, but recruitment has been extremely tough, I'd imagine because of my corp size. The Xziles is currently in NPC null sec - Curse region trying to make a name (and a life) for ourselves and it has been quite successful out here with this small alliance we are apart of. There is a strong focus on PvP, but in a very relaxed environment which allows for plenty of PvE opportunities. Listening to everything you said made me think you'd be a good pilot to have in my corp, but not just my corp, any corp would be lucky to have someone willing to stick around through the toughest times of a corporation. The timezone we are in is about 00:00 - 07:00 eve time, let me know if you are interested and we can chat some more. I would love to establish a mining and industrial wing to exploit the resources in this area while the pvp pilots keep things secure, but alas, I need pilots to do pretty much anything. |
