I was looking at some BS BPOs and they have an invention tab. It takes something like 64 datacores. So... anyone tried it? It's probably pointless, but it could be worth it if you could get a navy ship, or even another Impoc or Fedathron.
What the hell... This was supposed to be on the starbases and manufacture forum. How'd it get on the Events page.

Uhh.. you can only invent items with a T2 variant. You can't invent factios ships. Therefore trying to invent a BS is a waste of time.

You can try to invent a Battleship, but it'll end up telling you you can't.
Just like with mods that don't have seeded T2 variants. Sorry, no inventing Corvus, Storm, or Impoc BPCs.

Yup, invention is a cruel mistress. Promising T2 all and not offering it. Unfortunately as said before only items that have a current T2 equivalent will be avaialble for invention. Perhaps you should post your find on the bugs forum Imechal.

But you can invent Warp Disruptor II's, which (AFAIK) have no BPO's seeded. So am I to interpret "seeded" as "on the market"? Or merely "extant in the variations tab"?

Can someone that has tryed comment on this?
Only reazons they give me is that they are not ingame.
But how do they know that?
I can't find Data interface bp's on the market either.
Or is there a specific always up to date list?
