Sure, but don't count on PVP. Trading and mining will work though.

yes but most level 4 missions are out belt ratting is about it and small fleet battles up to 10 ships go 512k minimum

Yeah it can. Few months ago i passed my 10gb download limit and my provider put me on dial up connection for the rest of the month. ANd was able to play eve just fine. Loggin just took longer then on a faster connection.

yes it works just as good . . . only bad thing is the ú424 phone bill i recieved :)

I've played on dial up (good quality dial up!) a fair bit. Here's what i find.
- Do not go to Jita, especially the M4 navy station!! I got stuck at undocking/logging while i was there for 10 minutes.
- Mining and travel (courier missions) are ok.
- Even the lowly combat missions with lots of frigs will cause massive lag. I lost my ship due to this, none of the modules would activate. :(
- The market takes ~20 seconds to load. Everytime you open it. |

I play on dial up.
PVP is hard on dial up.
Some level 4 missions with all the mobs are difficult too.
Turn off sound effects that helps some but I'd still be careful trying to PVP
