I think I said earlier about the implementation of the sites, but they definitely got one thing right, the fun of them when combined with exploration. The removal essentially of unique items from survey sites when they wete redone always made me kinda down. Lost the charm. At least with these, every once in a while find something new and interesting. Found the catalyst serp skin the other day, permanent. Hell, it prompted me to get a catalyst which I never owned in eve yet. Yeah worth isk, but fun.
Found a 30 day one as well, so I flew to couster and gave it to a rookie... FUN!

Now actually sell that stuff for 2.8 Billion.... I seriously doubt you'll actually get anywhere close trying to sell most of that.
Sure, if you run enough sites you will eventually get something decent.
But you are talking well over 20 hours of actual play effort there. And a purely theoretical value on the items. And no proof that your results are even slightly the norm.
However sure, RNG is RNG. But the basic site drops shouldn't have had the T-shirts, they should have been a 'common' drop so run 10 or so and you should get one. But 77 of them is just silly.
It's nice to see that CCP have acknowledged some of the issue though. |

Imagine you are eating a cheeseburger, it is a decent cheeseburger, but in the back of your head you are thinking about that cheeseburger you ate a few weeks ago, and you just think that one was better. I have a really hard time calling that "tears" or "salt" Although some of the posts are more bitter than others, most of them seem pretty comparable to that.
Thanks for the list of drops. although at 2.8b it seems a lot of that is the MCT, the quafe zero would be a decent part, and then the rattlesnake bpc. I'm not sure how much the clothing is worth, there are a few bits that have similar expensive versions but are cheap, although there is also the possibility some are the expensive versions.
I still run the sites when I see them, but don't expect all that much from them. although CCP said they boosted the loot today so we'll see.
and yes getting out of highsec does seem to be the best way to find the sites. There are a lot in wormholes, and I've heard of a bunch showing up in null. Haven't been in low lately but I'd guess there are some decent spawns there, as there are a lot of out of the way lowsec systems.

First couple days, I was getting an extra item every 3-4 sites, since then I run close to 30 sites in null and got just the basic stuff. Has the drop rate declined? Or, does the system you run in have an effect on the drop rate? Feels like CCP hooked me at first then put me on the cut stuff... |

Well if any of you bothered to read the first post I've ran all sites in wh space. I've add 22 more sites to my list. I've gotten 2 skins one serpentis hardener and 5 cloth items that aren't part of the standard drops. I've ran these additional sites since the supposed increase in drop rate. The fact remains operation frostline is a bust and in no way comes remotely close to as awesome as the blood raider event was. |

Confirmed while "Working" I ran 34 of these yesterday. The last 2 in Low sec dropped plexs back to back.. The other 28 in WHs dropped Quafe and Cloths and one Cybernetic Arm

I finally saw one of these sites. I undocked to do a mission, and there it was. All I had in system was my mission Nestor, but I went for it anyway. Got shirts and quafe.
Then, after completing the mission, and getting the next, I undocked and there was a second site. Did that one and got a catalyst skin, 80 mil, along with snowballs, shirts, quafe, and a booster.

I did 5 of them in deep lowsec space, and gave up, realized you had to do 100s of them to get a plex. and then I saw on reddit someone got 1 plex after doing 400 of them. well, thats not good enough. whole event is busted and ccp failscaded totally here. |
