Well it looks like someone tried to assassinate me, and would've succeeded if my sister didn't freeze me while she searched for the antidote.
I am going to find out who the hell did that and rain down fiery death on them. Anyways now that i am back my first order of business is to restore communications with my contacts and then go for a hunt.
Oh and those smug little hippies better not think that i have forgotten what they did to Caldar Prime.
Forgive and forget

Hell would need to freeze over before that happens.

Bravo! What an entrance! What machismo!
This is a trail for a new 'vid, no?
When does it open?
I especially like that tagline: "I am back my fellow Caldari let fire rain down on those Gal... " Oh.
Ah, perhaps not. I may have to skip this one after all.

Try and "take back Caldari Prime" and it's your sky that fire will rain from, "Commander" Payne, if that is your real title. Followed shortly by the wreck of your pod. CONCORD doesn't take kindly to terrorists, you know.

Seeking a peaceful solution to conflicts of interest before resorting to violence is the mark of a great man. I guess you're just the forgettable sort.

Although I don't particularly care for either race, The Gallente are far more abominable than the Caladari (or at least in my eyes). Thus, do as you please. A shame it would take another war for the Gallente to see that their Democracy is an illusion. ---------------------------

Oh, great. Yet another ultra-nationalist promising to utterly destroy a force a thousand times stronger than himself, through no stated means, but implying a past of greatness of which noone ever heard of. How original. Not.
I would suspect there's something fishy with our cloning machines, were it not for the fact that this type is found in all of the four empires.

The Gallente Federalist are insignificant enough. Aging navy, immigration problems, and failed/failing provinces. Caldari Prime occured centuries ago, I dont see why the hell you'd care enough to go on some rant about it. You can go on your zealous crusade to liberate caldari prime - you remind me of those backward, primitive and uncivilized Amarrians with their Minmatar fetish. -------

I love the Caldari style of doubletalk, it's much richer than the Intaki version and not as borderline madness as the Amarr.
If Caldari Prime were so important to your people, all your people then that pretty memorial you put into high orbit around the planet wouldn't have been allowed to fall into such ruin and neglect.
So that shows the galaxy just how important that wasted rock really is despite the focus for your race's rallying it's always been. _____________________________________________________________________ "My once immaculate white pants are now stained from the weak and innocent. I don't wear red." |

A true loyal Caldari wants what is best for our people and the State. A long war that will kill countless Caldari and destroy our economy is not that. ---

On the contrary my dear Usagi.
That is where your wrong. Deaths in war can't be helped. But saying it will drain the State i hardly buy that at all. I mean with all the manufacturing of ships, components, ammunition and warheads. How can the State be made poor? The surplus no doubt we can sell to the Amarr or even their friends the Minmata for a tidy profit. I mean which race doesn't want Caldari items and ships. I mean the Caldari Navy Raven the pride of the fleet, not any ship can even come close!
So i beg to differ on that point my dear.

Except by not starting a needless war for a planet that you don't need, on which any Caldari who want to can already live, and which you couldn't effectively govern anyway without rejoining the Federation since the system contains the Federation home planet as well.
Quote: But saying it will drain the State i hardly buy that at all. I mean with all the manufacturing of ships, components, ammunition and warheads. How can the State be made poor?
Is there something wrong with Caldari education these days? Do you have even a basic grasp of economics? Ships are built from a variety of minerals, all of which must be mined. Mining ships cost money, and miners must be paid, or ore must be bought from capsuleer miners. Construction of a ship involves wastage and maintaining factories costs money. Equipping and crewing a ship costs more money, and the salaries of that crew must be paid. Keeping the ship operational, repairing damage and paying for ammunition, drones and expendable resources costs money.
I really hope even you aren't stupid enough to believe that the Caldari fleet won't lose ships. This will start the entire process over again. Even if you use SCC Insurance the payout doesn't return initial costs, nor does it completely compensate the cost of the ship, its crew or its modules.
Quote: The surplus no doubt we can sell to the Amarr or even their friends the Minmata for a tidy profit.
Surplus? You honestly think in an Empire/Empire war between the Caldari and the Gallente (which, let's face it, will drag in the Minmatar and the Amarr as well) will leave ANY room for surplus? Is your arrogant opinion of Gallente fleet strength so low you're convinced they'll just roll over and die? You're going to have SHORTFALLS if you declare war on us.
Quote: I mean which race doesn't want Caldari items and ships. I mean the Caldari Navy Raven the pride of the fleet, not any ship can even come close!
Except the Fleet Issue Tempest, the Navy Issue Megathron, the Navy Issue Apocalypse, the Rattlesnake, the Corvus, the Storm, the Machariel, the Vindicator, the Nightmare...
Seriously, if they're making clinical morons like you Majors in the Caldari Navy then I weep for what was once an honourable and intelligent fighting force.

Pay no heed to Mr. Payne, who obviously doesn't deserve his self-appointed title of 'Commander'. Like every other race (Gallente included) the Caldari pod-pilot exam tests for skills, not a lack of idiocy. Somehow many capsuleers manage to graduate and still remain morons like Mr. Payne. -------

It's a shame. I usually find most level-headed Civire such as yourself a positive pleasure to work with or talk to. You're (mostly) practical, sensible and urbane, if somewhat stubborn, and usually have a rational solution for things. Apparently our unfortunate friend Mr. Payne doesn't seem to have inherited those traits from his parentage.

That is why you choose war as a final option. And it is also why you don't start wars for revenge or other petty differences.

Yes, what race doesn't indeed. In fact the Federation buys plenty of Caldari created property. This war would eliminate both them and (their allies) the Minmatar Republic as customers. It would cost money to protect trade shipments running in and out of Amarr space. It would cost money to protect the miners and industrialists. The infalted costs due to all this extra spending and decreased income would bankrupt multiple corporations and inflation would sky rocket.
You have tunnel vision, Mr. Payne. You fail to see the big picture; that being that the cost for a planet that is no longer our home is not worth it.
We have a strong state and a wonderful society and I for one have no interest in seeing it destroyed over a grudge. ---
