Ok, with all the claims and counter claims of who "pwnd" who in each and every fleet engagement I think its time we suggested a kill log.
Each time you or your gang kills a ship/pod it gets logged and you can look it up/screen shot it later to prove your kill.

Or have a system log (of kills in the system during the last 24 hours) which anyone entering the system can access. The combination of these logs summarised would provide the map numbers.

I heard that TomB was saying that they may make Eve send an Evemail when you're involved in a kill.
Its a start but still wouldnt completly stop the confusion as no one would belive evemails posted on the forum by 2 opposing sides.

I suggested somewhere (forgot) that the stargate Billboards have a second right click option (next to Read News) that would open the ingame browser with a list of recent ship destructions and especially pod-kills, who lost their ships and who died and optionally the involved parties. Recent being perhaps 2 or 10 days, whatever is better.
Perhaps make concord send the killer a mail if they wish to claim the kill so that you can stay incognito if you so desire. Who died is still shown but your name as killer is not. Perhaps bill you for not being shown 
Could also add aprox time and system location.
The page could look something like this:

Ship Destructions:

etc etc
of course with self destructions it might clog up the page, maybe we shouldn't have that, I don't know. Could split it up into more categories so to avoid "spam" and the like.
There are many things to consider so it won't be so easy... For instance if you abandon your ship before its destroyed, how are they gonna handle that etc etc. many things I'm sure.
This is just a rough layout...

we need some kind of kill count that is accurate. Just look at the BS thread about the big battle in HLW last night.
