Empire Extreme Gladiatorial Extravaganza is a newly founded corporation who's sole interest is to bring entertainment to the populace of the EVE universe. We will, Gods willing, host a weekly tournament of gladiatorial combat in which fortune seekers and hooligans can duke it out on set terms with a chance to win a fabulous price.
The mechanics of the event are yet to be set in stone, and therefore I need a few benevolent souls, willing to commit a few hours of their life to help make this happen.
This is a perfect way to use one of your alts. It is less attractive for main characters as it is mostly administrative work.
Of course, you yourself will make money from this. The company will claim a small percentage of the proceeds as well as salvage rights to the wrecks left behind, and any money made, is money divided among the organizers.
As the project is still in it's planning stages, I will only need a few people for the moment. A list of positions and their application status follows:
Directors and Bet Collectors:
You assignment would be to help me organize the event, and to take and manage bets during the event itself. - Status: Taking applications
Camera men and PR consultants:
Your task is to shoot the event using FRAPS or another game-footage recording medium. You will also be taked with promoting the event using both forums and in-game means. - Status: Not taking applications at this moment
Salvage and Security:
Much like the job title says, your task is to provide security for the event using the game-mechanics of the security rating of the chosen system, and to salvage the remains of those participants that where not lucky enough to survive. - Status: Not taking applications at this moment
Note that as an employee of EEGE you may be trusted with large sums of money. In order to ensure an atmosphere of trust I will require a screen shot of your login screen to show all your characters. As you apply, an email adress will be revealed to you to which to send said screenshots, or you can host them yourself and just provide me with a link.

I'd be willing to commit an alt to this, though it would be my completely unskilled one, so it would have to merely be administrative work

i have alot of web programming experience, if this project takes of the ground i would be willing to offer my services, though coding custom scripts for the betting etc would involve lots of work which would be wasted if nothing came of eege get this show on the road and im in.
