Back in the day I ran l3 in hurricane, then trained and ran them in cyclone. Either one works. Sniper t1 cruiser would probably work ok. Kite anything smaller than you, orbit anything same size or larger than you. Life is short and dinner time is chancy Eat dessert first!

I'd work towards a Faction, T2 or T3 Strategic Cruiser as soon as possible (skip Battlecruisers altogether). I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

A T3 costs a billion just to buy and I wouldn't get in one of those without a lot of skills first. A T2 cruiser is a little more sensible as they don't cost more than BSs. If going that route I suggest skilling up drones and getting into an ishtar. The downside to that is those things take a month if you don't have cruiser 5. I can has blogging skills!

I guess you missed the part where I included "Faction" or "T2" cruiser as well... And I don't know where you shop, but T3's are well under 500m to buy and fit. I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Faction cruiser also pretty good, but a bit expensive, and maybe less forgiving than a bc. Missiles are easy, but I prefer turrets. Some lv2 experience with something like an arty rupture transitions well into an arty hurricane for lv3s. plus plenty of drones for frig defense. @ChainsawPlankto

Take pirate cruiser. Phantasm or Gila. They are relatively expensive but you will get use of full bonuses as soon as you reach lvl 1 related skills. Phantasm is especially good, you will pass lvl 3 missions like -¦ breeze.

With new projection bonus, it may actually bring autocannons in your average l3 with a bunch of tracking comps. Problems begin on a tank, usually people start with shield one on minnie ships, but you've got no spare mids since all of them are prop + TCs.

A cruiser is serving me fine. Just look at battleclinic for a good fit and train for T2 tank stuff as soon as possible then T2 weapons if you feel you need it.

Their are lev 3s that I have lost battlecrusiers in when I met NPC battleships in them. For those I now use my Megathron. Will gank for food

It's a ship CCP introduced with low SP pilots in mind, you should be grateful. Oh and I don't wanna confuse you or anything, but the Zealots melts every single lev 3 mission with ease.

Voxinian 97	Posted - 2015.12.22 15:03:32 - [30] - Quote Train for an Orthrus if you want to do L3s classy. Besides for a few large L3 missions where the Orthrus wont be faster and tanked enough. Cap stable Orthrus with rapid lights and a pointer shreds L3's faster then anything else I've used.
