Inside ships (like the deep space transports), what sort of restrictions are on the fleet hangar? Can you put repackaged ships inside the the fleet hangar, or just modules/materials? |

Unless they changed it recently, Assembled ships go in fleet hangers. Fully fitted or half fitted, whatever, they cannot be in a 'packaged' form. |

But fully assembled ships take up millions of meters cubed so....? Is that just a benefit of the fleet hangar? |

I was mistaken. I just looked up a Chimera.
The Ship maintenance bay holds a million M3
Fleet hanger holds 10,000. I think I carry extra fuel and stuff in mine.
Sorry about the mis-information.
I think the fleet hanger has partitions, so other pilots can store stuff there and keep it secure. To be honest... I haven't undocked a carrier in years. Just going off memory.

Nope, there are no restrictions on what you put inside the fleet hangar. It can be 3 fitted frigates or 25 repackaged ones or 6 cruisers or what fits in 62500m-¦.

Fleet hangars are basically a standard cargo hold that can be accessed by members of your fleet or corporation or both depending on how you have access set up.
A ship maintenance bay will only allow you to place assembled ships within it. and is used for carrying round rigged ships from place to place or dropping ships in space for someone to use.
If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.
