I redeemed my holiday gifts and cannot place them in a container or ship. Why? What could possibly be the rational behind this? I redeemed them to my main station and would prefer not to trash them, but if they are going to eat up space, I will have to.
Or maybe this is some sort of bug? |

For the first time in my many years in this game, I am going to agree with someone complaining about the Christmas gifts.
If this is not a bug, then it's bad coding and needs to be rectified sooner rather than later.

Some items can't be placed in containers: anything that's supposedly alive (livestock, exotic dancers, little helpers), radioactive trade goods, and some "perishables." Depending on what the "trinkets" are, CCP may have categorized them as perishable for whatever reason.
If you desperately need to get rid of the clutter, get a ship, put them IN the ship cargo hold, and rename the ship "Christmas Junk."
EDIT: Failed reading comprehension. If you can't place them in a ship, that's definitely annoying. |

Unusual change this year. Hopefully something that CCP change.
I want to carry my Starsi around in my ship. I need something to drink and Starsi tastes better than Quafe.

The strange thing is that I can not put the gifts in the cargo hold of any ship, it gives the error message 'This item cannot be put into cargo containers.'
However, oddly enough and to my great surprise, I can put the gifts in cargo containers.....
Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format.
Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

Drop the items in a container, put the container on a ship, and you are good to go. I suspect a bug as well. Hence, bug report submitted, EBR-61561
