so I need some help, all my life I fought guristas and moving to angel space now.
which totally messes with my ratting harpy, because of its lack of resists.
so my first idea is to take a vengance (pve/pvp) or retribution(pve only :( ) but don't know if small tech II lasers are strong enough.
I don't like the wolf/jaguar that much so this is out of question. Even if it has insane resists...
which brings me to the question which battlecruiser is best for tanking angel spawns for mining ops or killing them as fast as possible.
I'm jumping between hurricane, myr and harbinger sofar. I could consider a drake, but prefer armor tank.

Armor tanking angels could be a bad idea. They deal explosive damage as primary. A shield tanked Myr might work..

He pretty much summed it up. The only armor tankers which are effective against angels are amarr, because their t2 ships generally have high expo resistence. If your a caldari pilot just shield tank and it will solve your problem... if not then get a ship which is able to shield tank.

mhm I was afraid of this I just like a do it all setup like I have on m harpy. Can tank triple guristas and still able to take out the roaming hostile (if he has no webber...) or hold him long enough till backup comes.
i thought the same could work with armar. And I don't prefer any race in particular. Just caldari bc are so boring compared to...
...everything else :)

Hurricane tanks fine with 3 x active hardeners, one of each type, and a medium armor repairer.

Drake and Ferox to excelent against explosive damage. i know for a fact i can break 90% explosive on my drake.

Any shield tanker....take 1x Exp hardener and you'll have 80%+ resist....
