OK this is not a whinge but I certainly wasn't aware of the little problem that when your security status drops below a certain level 1.0 space isn't a friendly place! (And why should it be!!!)
However I'm now stuck there... everytime I head to a jump point I get put in my pod and I refuse to leave 1.0 in a pod with a bounty on my head.
So don't go shooting people till your damn good and ready!

If your sec status is below -5.0 ppl that want to collect on that bounty dont need to wait for u to leave 1.0 space...
It's open season on ya mate.
However, if you're still above -5.0... I guess we'll just have to wait.. _______________________________________________

How come I can dock in 1.0 space any way? I mean Sarum Navy are having a feild day at the jump points, so when i dock surely someone should come knocking on my ships outer port and ask me polietly to go with them
Losses so far from trying to escape:
1 x Thorax 3 x noobie vessels
I've so far learn't that noobie vessels don't run well

if someone shoots at you and your sec status is greater than -5, the police should be all over them real fast.
If someone shoots at you when you warp near a station the sentry guns will blow them up quick Same at a gate.
Try docking, buying a shuttle, and geting out of the system vua a gate. It shouldnt be too hard as long as Concord doesnt spot you
And even if they do, they wont podkill you -Othnark

It's taken me 5 weeks, thousands upon thousands of dead Guristas and two very good Lv2 agents to get me from -9.6 to -0.6.
Unfortuntely pod travel is the price you have to pay for your past sins whilst in high sec space. I didn't mind necessarily travelling in a pod, its the speed of the pod which is the most annoying. |

You might want to get an agent. It will save you a lot of rat killing time for a small ish price.

Edited by: darth solo on 05/12/2003 11:23:40 u can do it.
I had a -4.7 sec rating, and i could pass thru 1.0sec systems like pator/new caladari.
U have to b very quick though, if the systems are laggy at all, u r screwed, they are usually waiting for u at the gates.
No1 has mentioned to him to try it in a shuttle, iv never lost a shuttle to cops in hi sec.
Oh, and some1 mentioned get an agent.
For starters, to get a concord agent, u seem to have to do missions for other agents for a while, then u might get 1, and when he sends u into 0.8 sec systems all the time, losing ships gets tyring.

That means you can be in any system up to and including systems which have sec lvl 0.8. I'd suggest you take the risk and pod travel to nearest such system. Shouldn't be too many jumps. From there you can buy any ship you want (or can afford) and proceed life as usual.
Or you could wait 3 days to get your sec status to -2.4 and head to nearest sec lvl 0.9 system. That way you got even more options on where to go.
Edit: silly typos... ----- Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene 5, Moon 4, Duvolle Laboratories Factory. Ammo at affordable prices. |

If u can get a concord agent then they are the best way to raise your sec rating, every few missions, it will rise by 0.1, Of course, if u can, do it before the new patch as they're being taken out.

I've now managed 21 missions for my very first agent, I'd never done agent missions before my security plumitted.
I managed to out run the Navy forces everytime but then they caught me and now I'm stuck. No MWD means I can't run fast enough.
I just tried in a shuttle but again they put me back in my Egg.

I must admit I don't understand the whole sec thing. Can anyone tell me what the minimum sec rating I need to be in each kind of space please? And how much sec do you lose for attacking other players or NPC convoys..... I don't get it, help!!

This was posted a while go:
You can enter systems with lower security status than 0.6 if your standing is -4.5 You can enter systems with lower security status than 0.7 if your standing is -4.0. You can enter systems with lower security status than 0.8 if your standing is -3.5. You can enter systems with lower security status than 0.9 if your standing is -3.0. You can enter systems with lower security status than 1.0 if your standing is -2.5.
I cant confirm if they are correst as iv never had a negative sec rating.
Im not sure how much sec rating u lose just for attacking but u get a -3.0 for podding someone. You dont lose any sec rating for attacking convoys, however u must be at least 55 km from the sentry guns before attacking. You will however lose standing with the corp who's convoys u are attacking and with the empire u are in. It used to be if u had a lower than -1.8 standing with the empire your in, their navy would chase u anytime u entered there space.
Hope this helps
