Thank you :) For others who actualy likes new position: Move along, nothing to see here!
Explanation: Items panel is often placed on the right side, right above "Strip fitting" button. To strip fitting you need 1st to move/minimise/close items panel. Old button position was below slots display where it should be. There is still more than enough place to put that button back where it was. --

I knew there was something odd going on with that button but couldn't really figure out what it was. But yeah, i think the old position is better.

Try using the "merge ships and items into station panel" option listed under Generic tab in options. Found this accidently one day and never looked back. Pure awesomeness.

Yeah it is awesome if you have only few ships or couple modules in your hangar.
But if you like to sort things (to separate ammo, t2 fittings, drones, minerals, etc, from each others) with station hangars here come real mess. When you unload crapload of loot from your ship you need to scroll too much trough all of that if item panel is docked into station panel. --

Definitely /signed.
I gather so much crap in my hangars that I sort it all into cans. I usually have 2 or 3 cans open, plus the items window, plus whatever else. And I move them to the right so I can see the modules and bye bye "strip" button. It was perfectly located when it was in the center. --- Space For Rent |

How about they just design the interface so it is actually functional altogether? If you want to be aware of your surrounds and use your local as some sort of uber radar your screen will be covered with so many windows that you can't actually see any space at all.
