Just upgraded the memory on my computer to 2gb. Ram all matches, timings, speed, etc.
WoW runs for 12 hours + with no problems when my wife plays her account. X3 runs without problems for hours and hours. I've run diagnostics on the memory over a 24 hour period with no issues whatsoever. EvE however, once I launch a ship, will completely lock the system within the first 15 minutes of playtime. And this has only happened since I added the memory.
Short of yanking it out, any ideas?

The only thing I do when I upgrade memory is adjust the paging file size to match the amount of memory installed. I doubt it will have an effect on your problem though, but it doesn't hurt to do it.
I've had a few freezes myself, and when that happens, I just alt+tab to desktop, and then EvE usually gets going again.
Btw, tried rotating the RAM modules?

Have you downloaded this patch linky it may help if your getting lock ups.

if you changed memory and you get more crashes, there might be a chance that the memory isnt fully ok, tried www.memtest.org ? :)

Ran full diagnostics for a 12 hour period with no errors. Tried reversing all the slots. I finally swapped the ram in her machine with some of the ram in my machine. And they both run EVE fine now. No clue why its different.
Now to save some lunch money to replace the missing dominator ram out of my box :)

got the same problem and not the luxury of changing my ram out... you guys got any other advice? :)
