Hi Guys and Gals,
Picture this, Im in 0-4 space, Ive just been mining in my Dominix, as thats all its good for. I have 1 jump to get home and to my amusement there is a guy called lokenar camping the gate, the greedy lil SOB spots my poor sec rating and my 45mil bounty and opens fire, I here you say, we would all have done the same for the chance of an easy 45mil bounty pay day. He hit me a few time but I just MWD to the gate jumped to my base and got my Scorpion and headed back to get him.
To my amusement he was still camping the gate in his Arma, no sooner as I was thinking I hope he fires first then i can nail him he did open fire on me :-) I was smiling at this point. Turned on like 8 tactical sheilds and whatched him for a while, oh I had him warp jammed of course :-), realising he was in trouble even before I opened fire he tryed to make for the gate not realising it would be locked out as he was the aggressor :-), bigger smile at this point. So not to delay the sweet enevitability of his death I opened fire with 2 Tachs and 4 siege launchers, (EMP Cruise).
30 secs into the battle he has 50% hull left after a few 800 reckers and many cruise hits, then a misile hits the gate and I got gate guns on my ass. He was 10% hull when I had to warp away, and to my disgust he logged out at the gate.
I think never mind I gathered 3 More Battleships from our Allience and they sat 10ks away from gate and awaited his return.
I had to hold at safe distance to await the time gate guns forgot about my small act of indescression, damn lousy no good misiles.
He musta been a newb because he waited 15mins before re-logging right into our ever open arms, the guys jamed him, I warped back in and he was poded :-).

Serves him right.
Hopefully he will learn the other lesson - that is that if you can't afford a BS, you should not fly one.

he really should have just sat next to the gate awaiting the aggresive act timer to run its course, then jump.
But, then again, thats why the post headings says what it say, darn nOObs.
nice though, always good to get a kill like that.

Why did you say that the dom is only good for mining ? What are your impressions about this ship ? I was thinking about getting one for NPC farming, and looking it's stats I found it's one of the most balanced BS in the game...
Would you like to comment ? It would be greatly appreciated.

Btw...if people new to PvP try it out and make mistakes, why are they completely slaughtered here too? I thought the existing PvP players enjoyed seeing more people doing a little fighting?

Yeah, finally someone takes his mining BS out for a little PvP action, gets smoked in-game, and then gets roasted on the forums.
Why don't you help the guy with the mistakes he made instead of just laughing at him?

Poor poor dominix.
Ofcourse i enjoy the pvp part of this game and well he simply lost. No blame, no hate feelings. he got owned.
However:
What is a 45 mil bounty guy doing mining?

I "can't afford to lose" and "don't have the skills" to use a Battleship, but is this what I can look forward to? A frikin 30 second battle? The largest, toughest, most expensive ships in the game, and the battle lasts less than a minute?
Not a flame at anyone, just dissappointed that PvP battles are still over too quickly.

Billy Bob's was 130mil at one point. Dunno why people place silly bounties on themselves though I don't believe for one minute it was put there by someone else, odd behaviour IMO

The only thing Eve lacks is the ability to see the persons face when they realise they're about to lose their ship. I hate not seeing that part ... I have to fill in the gaps and imagine young men weeping over their keyboard ...

You wouldnt see me flinch....i lost 7 apocs in 2 months....i kinda get used to it :)
If i lose one i just go buy another...i suppose its handy having lots and lots of isk :)
Im deffinately getting better though...practice makes perfect :)
I dont have many skill points like some do as i was a late starter...but im catching up :)
LvL 5 skills take a long time but im sure they will be worth the wait.
I love eve and it doesnt bother me at all how much i lose...coz when i win i will be elated :)
I still not decided whether to be a pirate or not.....just seems like they have the most fun.

ok if he was at a gate that means he was pretty close to it, secondly if you scrambled him that means u must of been 20km away agreed. Then infact you must of sh1r yourself like a newb to have let missiles rip in the first place, as if infact you were hitting Quote:

that would problably mean you have high enough gunnery skills to take a arma down by streaming enough damage per second before the aggression timer is up and its safe to jump remember the invul time will cease after this guys stopped aggressing.
and u say he was scrambled lol, he wasnt going anywhere and you were tanked. rofl
you need to look at yourself before boasting a kill that took you problably a long time and 3 more ships to get.
