Edited by: Vulgar Nebuchadnezzar on 18/01/2007 19:09:11 Edited by: Vulgar Nebuchadnezzar on 18/01/2007 19:08:48 So I am pretty new to the game and I am just trying to get my bearings on what I should do for the next month or two while I skill up various things and earn money. Up until today I have just been running missions for the Amarr Navy to try and unlock a lvl II agent to make more money (I have been gathering modules/guns/skills to outfit a decent cruiser).
Well my initial idea of what I wanted to do in the game was to randomly pirate people while using missions to support that. But I plan on being kind of nasty and I expect that my security rating will drop dramatically which would (I assume) cut off access to my agents who are probably in higher security stations. This brings me to the main point:
It was suggested to me that I could do missions for the various NPC pirate factions and the Angel Cartel came up (additionally, I looked in my faction page and they are pretty much the only "outlaw" faction that I haven't ****ed off which would make unlocking higher level agents easier). I have been searching for some info about what would be involved in doing this and I can't seem to find it. If I did decide to run missions for them, where would I go? Would those missions always be run in low sec space? And hence, wouldn't I be in constant danger of being pirated? Also, are the pirate missions comparable to the major faction ones (as far as money and relative skill level)?
Thanks in advance for any information!
Edit P.S. I am fully aware of the ridiculousness of my desire to stay "safe" while doing pirate missions in order to fund my pirate aspirations. I have no problem with *eventually* becoming outcast into pvp space, but right now I would be a lamb to the slaughter because of my lack of SP and ISK.

pirate-faction agents are in 0.0
but if you dont wanna go there u can stay in low-sec and continue missions for the various factions/empires there.

There are skills called Diplomacy and Pirate Connections you might want to train up.. Might open up some of those other pirate factions for mission running..

Not many (from the mission running mass) run missions for pirate factions and those who do.. Well they usually tend to pant the information..

Easiest way would be to check ingame what part of space that faction calls their home.. Angel Cartel calls Curse their home..

No.. They would be allways in zerosec..

Where there is a risk, there is a reward ;)

From my experience - money is better, skill level similiar.
