I'm essentially trying to speed my way to acquire a lot of Loyalty Points, really fast.
Here are my current skills:
Defender Missiles 1
FoF Missiles 1
Guided Missile Precision 3
Heavy Assault Missiles 2
Heavy Missiles 4
Missile Bombardment 3
Missile Launcher Operation 5
Missile Projection 3
Rapid Launch 3
Rockets 4
Standard Missiles 3
Target Navigation Prediction 3
Torpedoes 2
Warhead Upgrades 2
14 Missile Launcher Operation skills trained, for a total of 575,240 skillPoints.
What should I go for? Initially my strategy was to use Heavy Assault Missiles and just close in FAST using Afterburner II. Kill EVERYTHING and just dock and grab another mission. This isn't as effective as I thought it would be, with Heavy Assault Missile range approximately 10KM.
I really need some advice from veterans here.

Might be handy to add which ship you're flying, but I'll assume the drake and I can just recommend heavy missiles. Sure, HAMs have higher dps, but you need to get into range first, the time you gain from killing faster gets lost by having to move too much before you can start firing that way.

Ummm... Cruise Missile 4, all missile support skills to 4, Caldari BS 4, T2 BCUs, Raven, and moth relevant connection skills to 5.

use cruise missles tbh, ifyou are on a level 3, use a target painter.
