Aka the privateers your actions have taken the forums by storm. I don't care if you get popped 24/7 for what your doing but I must say your doing a damn good job.
Never could I possibly dream of causing such a rucus or becoming the boogeymen of EVE.
Your probably wondering why this wasn't posted in privateer thread #107-B. Well it is filled with so much crap to sift through I'd rather not bother posting.

And knowing some of the corp's that joined, I pity the fool who laughs at privateers.

I'm taking a few privateers into 0.0 this weekend actually, kind of a reward for being good empire boys.

Edited by: Leto Twin on 19/01/2007 05:59:07 Thank you. = )! I joined because I thought it was interesting. And we are learning PvP in the same fashion as learning to swim by jumping in the deep end of a pool.
Feels good to not be smacked, for once. Would post on my other character, who is older and I get more kills on (generally more known as well). But I am not sure the policy of posting in that corp.
EDIT: For clarification he too is in the Privateers alliance, but not in the Privateers corp.

I need to go on one of those Ugluuk-type killing spree's and stop sucking. Maybe more will hate me.
I guess I'm just getting use't to all the anti-Priv threads/comments in forums. I like it, I dunno. When I see a positive post like this one it kinda confuses and angers me.

At first I was angry and confused. I figured this was sarcasm in a thread. But it is not! So I let out my inner carebear and accepted it.
And yes, we all need to do that. Rumor has it he went 8 on 1 and came out on top.
I like all the anti-priv. comments in local. Because then we undock and prove them wrong.
As a heads up to all the people that claim I hide in the station. I'm not. I need to reload to kill you, so you can get your posterior out of my local via the clone express.

What I don't understand is why people who do not benefit in any way from being in a deep space alliance, because they fly around Jita all day, complain about Privateer Alliance. They would be a lot less effective if people weren't so stupid. If you have two chars and one is an Empire utility char then create an alt corp for him and fly under the radar. Otherwise you get what you deserve from Privateers.
Here's another irony, when big dumb alliance kills independant industrialists in 0.0 for no reason at all they say, "hey, 0.0 isn't for you, you need to be in an alliance if you want to come here." Now we have Privateers saying to big dumb alliance, "hey, highsec isn't for you, you need to not be in alliance if you want to come here," and the alliance folk are butthurt about it. The irony is beautiful.

So true, I dont see the sense in them joining a deep space alliance if they are going to fly around High sec look for easy pickings. To be honest I think teh reason is just that . I think they are scared of what may come of them if they actually do venture into a 0.0 region owned by an enemey alliance. alot of alliances expect you to be part of a self suficient corp, so they may not be able to afford the losses so they hide out in high sec...

my corp has 3 BS kills and 2 within the space of 2 hours that were never posted on there boards and its a trend that keeps going we even got a privateers member to post the mails we got so it reflects the REAL kill/death rate etc ( btw the 3 bs kills thats just the start also got command ships losses not posted on there boards they arnt showing the truth and thats lame like the logon traps they have settup in the last 12 hours need i say more? )
oh and they say high sec isnt for alliances well WTF ARE THEY THEN????? they ARE and alliance thats ironic tbh ----------------------------------------------------

I think you will find most people in Privateers have lived in 0.0 and helped obliterate an alliance or two. Some are easily recognisable, indeed legendary corps, others are the noob-SP alts of bored PVPers who though anonymous, are often quite good and simply limited by their alts' SPs. The fact that Privateers is an Empire project does not mean that the members have never lived in 0.0. As a rule they have more 0.0 time than the nubs they kill.

My corp has always been small, probably under most peoples radar. Most of our EVE life has been spent in 0.0 space. We have all been there and "handled"it.If anything, it was easier because we could shoot anybody there and not get concorded.
