1200? It is quite a mystery to me. Is there any way to make use of this huge CPU output? What do you think it's for?

Wasn't there supposed to be a mobile refinery upgrade module/dealy for industrials near the start of EVE which is why they were given so much CPU? Then it fell by the wayside and Indy's keep their uber-EWAR fitting CPU totals.

in the beging the devs decreade that industral ship shall do industral work with mods that require might amount of cpu.
then they did not bother
becuase it did not do pew pew

Basically the idea. They were originally going to be able to carry out refining and a few other things.
In the end it never happened and there's not really been any need to re adjust the cpu since it doesn't cause any balance issues.
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it.

Well, it gives ore thieves a hauler that they can fit with an awful lot of EW modules, but if anything that just helps to balance jetcan mining
