As I was about on my day, I was wondering...
Do feline animals exist anymore? I certainly havent seen any cats in station or in anyones cargo holds.
Hecklers need not reply.

This kitten was found on a desert planet. Could there be felines on other planets?!

Why are you looking for cats in stations and cargo holds? If you've only read about cats but never seen one then why in the hell do you associate that with them not existing ANYMORE?!

It's not strange that he hasn't seen any cats thou. As pets they've been almost completely outcompeted by Furriers (especially as pets for the spaceborn). On most stations and colonies (non-terraformed) cats arn't welcome at all due to their habits, not to mention that on most planets there tend to be items that are highly poisonous to cats.
99% of the time, a furrier is the superior pet. It has much more controlled habits, easier to train and a more resilient digestive system.

I myself spent a number of million ISK in obtaining a large male lion by the name of Kalendrus. He is a beautiful specimen of his species (a sadly underpopulated race of beautiful feline creatures). He sometimes accompanise me on my travels, but since it has become somewhat difficult to set up a cloning arrangement for him, I never carry him onboard ships that are likely to enter into combat.

I find Furriers to be superior pets because there is still a twinge of guilt and self loathing if I were to abuse a feline or a canine. Furriers, however are fair game, and hence, a great source of pleasure. Oh how I do enjoy putting them on that star thing my amarrian friend showed me the other day. Simply delightful to watch them flatten out and cease to be.
