my mighty Maelstrom, the 'GIGA DRILL BREAKER'

Captain's Log, YC113


Jumping into Dodixie in my mighty Maelstrom, the 'GIGA DRILL BREAKER', I smiled at the success of another incursion being repelled. I aligned and warped to the hub station, remembering that I had to restock on ammunition. Upon docking, I realised that something wasn't quite right. I tried to turn my head, but couldn't. My retina-projected user interface had disappeared, and it appeared as if the hangar itself were shrouded in smoke!

Fearful for my safety, I disconnected from the clone.

Reconnecting moments later, I found that everything had returned to normal. Confused, but relieved, I undocked. Suddenly, a force of flashing red shapes began an assault on the system! My camera drones malfunctioned, and barely managed to capture a low-resolution shot of the system before they exploded into flames.

No! I had to escape! Accelerating towards the station, I furiously waited for Scotty to accept my docking request. I felt the space around my Maelstrom become unstable as it was engulfed in the strange, red entity.

Redocking, panting from fear, I made my way towards the medical clone facilities. I had to ensure my clone was up to date before perishing to the red assault! However, once walking, I had suddenly noticed an unusual breeze on the top of my head. I was bald. http://i40.tinypic.com/2qv6mvr.jpg

Taking another step, I stumbled. Something felt wrong. Looking down, I noticed that my feet had fallen off, and I had gained the ability to levitate. http://i42.tinypic.com/2dch54o.jpg

It was all too much. I staggered across the walkway, and collapsed onto the couch. Astonishingly, my groin had disappeared. Furthermore, my hand had gained the ability to pass through solid matter! http://i40.tinypic.com/2aka8b8.jpg

Clearly, something was wrong with the system. I quickly undocked and fearfully jumped several systems to my autopilot destination. I forgot why I had even set it. I had to escape! Feeling faint, I docked into another station and disconnected from my clone.

Reconnecting later, I breathed a sigh of relief. Everything was back to normal. Well, almost everything. A hole to the hangar had opened up within my Captain's Quarter. http://i43.tinypic.com/72poab.jpg
Thankfully, I could step on the hole and not fall through into the hangar below.

If I could step on it, then there must be an issue with my clone's infomorph visual reception and transmission systems. Adjusting the driver software, I reconnected. It appeared as if my personal quarters were constructed out of some kind of jelly, and the CQ screens were distorted. http://i43.tinypic.com/taovps.jpg



More research on the matter is necessary. I hope to unearth this mystery.
