Muuuh CoW ftw!
I am looking forward to fighting by your side once again. It is sad to see old friends joining CA. Even though Nomads was part of the original CA, there was no way we could side with them at this point.
See you in space

it was kinda our reason also. How can you turn 180 degrees and start to shoot friends while gang together like happy family with enemies. Doesnt fit to my mind.
Sure you can say its just a game. But still you have to stick with principles and fight for them even if its unwinnable fight. :p

Lollers, omg what made you leave AE and syndicate, my guess DNA(tough bunch, very calculated killers)and OSS (omg the nubs actually fought back and killed you) handing it to you time n time again, lets see what my crystal ball says..meh nothing intresting about you to be honest, just looking for roaming ganks here and there, not much to offer in terms of solid pvp and staying power, beat them up a couple of times and they wont bother you much again :P but gl for an attempt at moral booster.

What beat us out of Syndicate was an entire little cluster of systems of our own that nobody ever entered. We chased former residents then it was invaded by the fabled Dodo sorry NoQ and then it was all quiet... When we started fitting Salvager mods on HACs we knew in out heart of hearts it was time to move on.
As far as DNA is concerned its the single corp that I have fought in eve that is pound for pound (or man for man) better than AWAR. However the did not threaten us in any way. If isk making was our interest we would still be in pc9... Ask Ifni if you like if he thinks DNA had anything at all to do with us leaving...
OSS are harmless and I ll take that part of your post as a jest rather than start chestbeating about Dreadkills etc... Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim. |

Whole syndicate napped against us (except DNA). If you check the OSS or NOQ killboards you will probably see who killed who time and time again :) DNA are tough cookies yes, but we never really went after them campaign-ish. Im sure you can get a war dec for your corp if you want tho? Then you can decide for yourself... Though you seem extremely alty Kisses for you my love, you will probably be on my overview soon

Nothing made us leave syndicate.
No Quarter made a claim on our syndicate space and we saw them off...then we decided to leave and return to our common home, Great Wildlands.
OSS were not a threat and we beat them most of the time. DNA are great fighters but not big enough to force anyone to do anything.
Refer to our killboard if you want stats, personally ive never heard of you so you dont require more of a response than this ^^

And which party are you from? I'm guessing by your rubbish smack, OSS.
Looking at oss' own board you have a negative ratio(<50%) to all of all anarchy and that's only higher in art of war's case. Oh, and you're down a few capitals.. Morale boosting? We're were boosted seeing that BOS will be coming south, too.

Wrong. I didnt refuse anything.
We were not beaten off, we had internal problems and pulled out. If we were beaten off then why did our tower stay in s-u for months after we left? The one pos that oss ever attacked of ours failed and they lost capitals.
You have no idea the level of intel we had on OSS during that week we moved in, would have gone very differently had we started the op with a more stable alliance.

Buhuu leaving a pos in a system for longer than your campaign lasted is almost standard practice to save face. I heard about OSS losing capitals (not to your lower syndicate pos ofc) but in an attempt to get you to actually form up and fight, they attacked a random pos in some random system of no consequence I believe and lost capitals due to pc of the person running both accounts carrier and dread freezing up.I am happy you agree that you pulled out of that campaign to oss as leet as you make urself out to be, gl in your sojourneys anyway

Edited by: Ifni on 23/01/2007 18:01:49 Sure, we're ahead on kills versus AWAR (and RIOT for that matter), but we never made it a goal to force them from the region. If you force someone away, you can't take their loot, so wheres the profit in that? Beyond the one RIOT attack that I was told was planned (the carrier intervention in EZA-FM) I don't think either group set out to forcefully remove the other.
I would say the reason AWAR left, is due mainly to apathy. Too many carebears wanting their piece of the pie, makes for complicated politics. The 10/10, the crokite, and the bickering that follows both isn't exactly helpful to maintaining internal stability.
I hope AWAR finds what they're looking for in the oppurtunities open to them in COW. Don't forget, Syndicate's not gone anywhere

Good stuff guys, keap it up in my absence, looks like it should be alot of fun, typical its all happening with my wife 4 weeks away from poping out our first sprog.
As for the above poster saying OSS kicked our arses and forcing us out of syndicate, I can honestly say I have never heard anything quite so ludicrous, the reason we backed out of S-U was because of pure boredom, hell two or three corps didnt even bother coming and went off all over EVE killing stuff because OSS just werent, and arent worth the hassle.
DNA are a good corp for their size, good at what they do, but arent nearly big enough to have made us leave the region even if they set out to do so, not taking anything away from them, good corp, but not big enough to push us anywhere.

Ifni I was invited to do that plex from day 1, once per day, but I just cant be arsed to go after isk in an organised fashion. Thats true for all AWAR (I think). 1-2 guys interested in plexing stayed in Syndicate in other AE corps.
Crokite: - We dont mine. - If we did: After NoQ left too we had 3 Crok systems empty all day but we cant be arsed to be honest. Trust ne, as I said earlier we left because atm it would be more fun going back to GW and nuking an alliance that we consider, because of its member corp composition and political allignement, an abomination.
Anyway, I dont mind people having their individual views nor do I disrespect people just because they are wrong in their assumptions. Conversely I have *****d this thread unfortunately and I appologise ... I ll try to keep out and I think most AWAR will do the same...
If there is further clarifications I always answer my convs from anybody... no reason to fill forums with conjecture :) Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim. |

OSS never kicked CoW out of syndicate we never tried and never would have, that said the huge amount of chest beating from them about how they won all their fights against us is also ridiculous.
The last fight I remember against you guys involved me taking a 20 man gang to PC9 and killing something like 30 bs in the course of what seemed like 25 minutes... I think the only think thing they killed of signifcance was the hauler comi has to bring to pick up all the loot when we were full :| Next time dont sit stationary on a gate with an enemy covert in system. That said I remember losing a few frig and cruiser gangs to you guys too, and yes we lost a dread and carrier against you guys but killed how many bs - 30? Lesson learnt was you cant remote rep a dread in siege :( The other carrier pilot locked up hence he died. We felt we had to present you with those kills to have a chance of getting a decent fight out of you. Whether or not you feel that's unfair is one thing - we felt it and did it.
You ganked a lot of miners which is fine. At least when we ganked your ratters and miners we did it in style... In hauler gangs :p
