2007.01.22 00:37 Delictum 23216 has declared war on Namtz'aar k'in. After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.

The Honeymoon is over.
Over the last week, Ammatar forces have established active military bases in the terra irridente. Those terrorist squatters who support what they call the "Republic" will be used as target practice in our live-fire exercises.
May providence shine favourably upon the San (true) Matari.

With the emphahsis on death rather than glory I trust.
I always find it interesting to find that that those who hold that they are in possession of the greatest gift their deity can bestow, life, should be so fervent in their desire to throw it away in his name. The Amarr of course are adherent to a policy of slavery that they have somehow managed incorporate into their peverse state-sponsored cult that masquerades as religion.
This aspect of the Amarrian culture always leaves one breathless in the audacity of it's leaps of reason. Reason and state organised religion have always been uncomfortable bedfellows of course and it's no more apparent than in the ridiculous notion (It would be were it not so tragic) that enlightenment can only come through subjugation rather than reason or even some kind of divine epiphany.
It's redolent of some of the more primitive human cultures of ages past and has no place in this age of achievment.
There is nothing more tragic of course than those who would seek not only to enslave their fellow man, but even those who share a common cultural and genetic heritage.
Truly lost souls. If there are any Intaki amongst Delictum 23216 I would ask that they declare themselves and explain exactly how they have come to share in this sordid travesty of an adventure.
Should they do so I shall respond at length.
In the meantime I would advise those more enthusiastic members of Delictum to be careful in what they wish for.

It is, of course, always unfortunate when war must ensue.
But it is not all bleak, fortunately: it is my fond hope that this this may be a new first step in reuniting all Minmatar under the benign, skillful guidance of the Nefantar- and with that, under the rightful rulership of the Amarr Empire, and with that, under the righteous mercy of the Lord.
This is a great day for ALL Minmatar, although not each and every one of our brethren may be aware of this. Rejoice! --- Live to Serve Serve to Grow Grow to Ascend |

Achievement of what? Unparallelled debauchery as expressed by the gallente or various degenerate outlaws? Unparallelled levels of inhumanity as expressed by the various pirate factions or the "empires" beyond CONCORD regulated space? Unparallelled abandonment of morality in favour of putting just a few more credits in your bankaccount as expressed by a majority of Pod-pilots and corperations?
While we have been on a path to technological greatness the sad truth is that the only remaining bastion of morality is the Amarr empire (and to some extent the Caldari State).
We are the ones who let morality (the good of all) and not our bankaccounts or base desires rule our judgements. We are the ones who do view the universe in the long-term arn't just looking for quick profit or satisfaction.
The problem is that the universe has been indoctrinated against us, to the point where most of the universe view us as evil. This is of course a coherent system of knowledge (otherwise it would be far easier for non-Amarrans to realise the truth). The coherent system that stands against us (we can call it the Gallente way, or Capitalistic individualism) though is one based on systematic lies, deciet, exploitation, greed and suffering. Thus we reject it as yielding, in the long-term, poor results.
Thus the need for slavery, in order that through time, hard work and the guidance of Amarr clerics those who are not enlightened can see the truth. We do not see this as the only way of enlightenment, but the system of slavery also serves as a quarantine of sorts to prevent contamination. Every day there are slaves released in the empire because they've been deemed to be worthy of being free amarr citizens.
That is the beauty of the Amarr way of life. God is central to us, God has shown us the way. But in the end we do not need God to show the universe the virtue of his works and those ways he has deemed to be good, because the virtue and goodness in his works is self-evident to all those who truly understand them.

If it's self-evident, why is it necessary for you to enslave others to engender this true understanding?
Who decides that which represents true understanding? Would that be God or you? The problem with state sponsored, organised religion is that it often ends up putting someone in the place of God.
I'm sure you'll agree that this is not a good idea.

It's very sad that war has come - but the Republic is a failed state. I hope that Mandate forces can establish order, for the benefit of all the Matari people and I will support them in this.

Because it's necessary to break or reform a system that fulfills all the requirements of the Coherency system of Justification with another system that also fulfills those demands? To reform such a system without driving someone insane (and we never wish to do that, that would be evil) requires time and experience. Time living a life that you feel is unjust and confusing, until the day (or week, or year or decade) where you have your revelation. The day where all the facts fall into place and you realize how everything works. It may be in a brief moment of god-inspired revelation. It may be the result of a long quest after finding some piece of what you thought to be true, and an axiom, not quite so certain.
Sometimes a person will find that truth before they enter slavery, and will (when they realise what the Amarr empire truly stands for) seek out an Embassy and put themselves into slavery so that they may work for the glory of the Amarr empire (and quite possibly being released within a fairly short time as a worthy citizen of Amarr). The Ni-Kunni were easy to convert, as were the Udorians, while the Matari and Ealurians have proven to be quite stubborn (though we're making progress in both cases, having formed the Ammatar mandate for example).

So presumably, if the subject were to offer the opinion that their lives weren't filled with injustice or confusion and that they were happy with the world and their place in it, you would see no need for them to abrogate their rights by entering slavery in the pursuit of what you would see as enlightenment?

If they have found what you consider to be the truth and stand equal in the sight of your deity, then what is to be gained by pressing them into slavery? Why could they not then enter the ranks of Amarr citizenry?

Because we need to be certain that they've found the truth? As said before. The holy institution of slavery is also a quarantine. And then there are theological reasons such as making amends to God. But for example the Order of the Khanid Crown has no such probationatory period (though they're viewed as...radical).

As to your wish to unite all Matari under your rule, I suggest you 1) stop shooting your fellow Matari, 2) stop serving the evil god, 3) apologice to all those you have wronged by bringing them to slavery or otherwise unlawfully engaging in hostilities against them.
Until then, prepare to be shot if you cross our paths, but please do excuse us if we have other things on our minds than going out of our way to hunt a ragged band of race-traitors.
My apologies for the late answer. We are busy people.

Nefantar, Thukker, Brutor, Sebiestor and whatever else has Minmatar roots - they all look the same to me.
As long as you fight against the right targets and as long as you know your place it seems to be fine the way it currently is, though. May this war reduce the overpopulation of subhumans a little bit.

It is sad that you are too busy to enjoy lifes greater virtues, perhaps if you were to embrace the truth, and spend less time fighting for something that is just not meant to be, you would have more time to enjoy your endeavours with your new spouse.

As would be expected Camar. The day to day operations of the Alliance continues, unhindered in its duty to the Republic, Matari people, and all those that seek freedom from oppresion.
These blood traitors are an anoyance, at best, much like the flies that feed off carion, these particular pests merely feed of the fetid decay of the Empire they serve. And when the flies come buzzing, its simply a matter of swatting them dead.
